  This review is far to late. It should have been posted months ago. Many people go through divorces for different reasons. Some of them are simple and some of them are messy. Mine was a messy one. That was 9 years ago. In a recent dispute regarding my daughter relocating to another state with her mother and her new husband I was represented by Ms Okoh Brown. First of all, she has a knowledge base and presence in the court room that impressed me beyond measure. This was my first time meeting her in person as we had communicated through email prior. I was amazed at how much she was able to present with the small amount of information I was able to provide. She understood perfectly why it was important to me why my daughter not relocate to another state at this time in her life and for other reasons. Ms Okoh Brown represented me and my interest as if she was fighting for her own daughter. I was so impressed by how she intercepted at every turn to prove our case. Her performance was professional and passionate. We did not get everything we wanted but I could not have asked for a better lawyer to plead my case and represent me with a more personal touch and loyalty. I will always remember what she did for me. I highly recommend this lawyer and her law firm, because her legal aids are extremely helpful and remain in constant communication with you.   She is bad to the bone. She fights hard and with so much passion for children. Im thankful God placed you in my path to get my daughter home where she belonged. We have a long healing journey, but it is now possible. I will be retaining her again for another matter.

  There are no words to express my thanks to attorney Lisa Okoh-Brown. To say she went above and beyond for me and my kids, is an understatement. She got me a Temporary Restraining Order in one day that granted me everything I asked for to get my kids back. The mom then ran to another state and I was very worried. Lisa communicated with me almost daily on what to do and answered my questions. Told me when to go to try to get them and what attempts to make. Even though she was only hired to appear once in court, she appeared multiple times because mom was avoiding service and we had to keep extending the TRO. She was relentless in following up with the court, the process service and in her determination to get my kids and help me protect them. Well we finally got mom served and appeared for our hearing. She was excellent in court and helping the judge to see that all 3 of my kids were better with me and so the judge ordered a switch in custody, and I was awarded all 3 of my kids. I am beyond grateful and now I can sleep at night knowing my kids are under my roof and safe. Thank you Lisa for all you have done and still continue to do. If I need any legal services in the future, I will definitely call you. Your are the best!
