  Melissa Aldape was in charge of my dads divorce case for over 2 years and resolved nothing only screwed my dad out of thousands of dollars. She was quick to send out invoices for doing absolutely nothing. I got him a new lawyer and even he says she took advantage of him and didn’t do anything to help him. Thanks to my dads new lawyer we are actually getting somewhere. Whatever you do, DO NOT GO TO HER or you will be spending a lot of money for years and get nowhere.

  I cannot recommend Stefanie Drew at the Laura Dale law firm. While she did defend me effectively against false CPS allegations made by my ex, her overall handling of my custody case was very disappointing. She strongly discouraged me from seeking temporary custody, insisting the judge would rule against me because of the false allegations. Based on her advice, I agreed to temporary orders that left my children with their abusive mother. When the judge later heard the case, it became clear that her assessment was wrong, but by then it was too late to undo the damage. Over the course of a year, I spent a significant amount of money while my case made no real progress. I often felt that she was advocating more for my ex than for me. Her paralegal was also consistently rude and condescending, which made the process even more frustrating. After switching attorneys, within five months I gained custody of my son, something she had told me would never happen. I regret the lost time and money with Stefanie Drew and would advise others to carefully consider their options.
