  Quick to collect the consultation fee but completely unresponsive afterward. The receptionist was cold and dismissive from the start. During my consultation, Attorney Melissa Warrick interrupted me and focused on collecting payment. She told me to call her directly if I wanted to move forward, I did, left a voicemail, and never received a call back. I followed up with the office, sent my information as instructed, and still never heard back. Very disappointing experience and a waste of time and money. Would not recommend!

  I would 100% recommend Kristin Romero for family law. I spoke to several family lawyers before Kristin and none of them made me feel secure. Kristin is sweet but can be a pit bull when it comes down to it. She made me feel heard and valued as a parent, when I was at my lowest. She remained on top of my case and I did not have to chase her down to ensure she was working on it. She took the time during the holidays as well to connect with me in person and via phone calls, to ensure I felt positive about my case. Loved working with Kristin, give her a call!

  I cannot stress enough how much Kristin Romero helped me through my divorce!! She was very patient, very informative and made sure I got what I wanted. At the beginning of the process, I was almost at the end of my pregnancy and since I was already under a lot of stress I think she did her best to ease my nerves and make sure I didn’t have to worry about anything. She cares about what you want and how you feel. Look no further you’ll definitely need someone as smart and professional the way she is.

She’s honest, upfront, and doesn’t sugarcoat anything—so you always know exactly what to expect. I first came to Melissa and her law partner in 2022, feeling worried and unsure of what I was up against. They clearly explained everything, and Melissa immediately got to work. She was thorough, dedicated, and made sure every detail was covered. Anytime I had questions, she responded promptly and with care. What truly sets Melissa apart is how much she genuinely cares—not just about the case, but about your well-being. She always made sure my children were okay throughout the process. Her knowledge, compassion, and relentless work ethic were key in helping me gain sole custody of my children.
