  This firm filed a property deed in our name without informing us of an undisclosed lien on the property. A little due diligence would have really helped! Now our family is liable for a loan we never knew existed. Updated after response: Yes, they facilitated a GIFT DEED for my husband to receive property he has worked tirelessly for decades to earn. It was never suggested to him that he should consider potential liens, taxes or any other consequences attached to the receipt of such GIFT. We have no experience with GIFT DEEDS and relied on the attorney to make those details clear to him and consider his best interests. This GIFT came with significant financial consequences and penalties that impact both my husband and me, PERSONALLY.
