Facing an EEOC case against the federal government was one of the most stressful experiences of my professional life. My situation began when I was demoted from my position, and the circumstances surrounding it placed me in an extremely difficult and uncertain position. At the time, the process felt overwhelming, and I knew I needed someone who not only understood the law but also understood how challenging this journey could be emotionally.
From the very beginning, Austin T. provided exactly that. He approached my case with professionalism, knowledge, and a level of compassion that immediately put me at ease. He took the time to walk me through the EEOC process step by step, explaining what to expect and making sure I fully understood my options. His ability to simplify a complex legal process helped me feel more confident and less alone during a time when I truly needed support.
I would also like to recognize Linda, who played an important role throughout the process. Together, Austin and Linda created an environment that was both professional and supportive. They treated my concerns with respect and patience, which made a significant difference in how I experienced the entire process.
What stood out most about Austin was his ability to combine strong legal expertise with genuine care for his clients. Rather than feeling like just another case, I felt heard, respected, and supported every step of the way. What initially felt like an intimidating legal battle became a process that I could move through with confidence because I knew I had the right people advocating for me.
I am sincerely grateful for Austin’s guidance and dedication. If you are navigating an EEOC case or facing a difficult employment situation, I highly recommend Austin T. Having an attorney who is knowledgeable, trustworthy, and compassionate can make all the difference, and Austin truly embodies those qualities. ---- Juanita

This firm would charge you to sharpen their pencils if they could. I can understand why so many bad reviews end with spending double digits and no resolution. Emails one sentence long are charged at a high unaffordable rate to those struggling during these difficult times. In my short time with this firm, I realized the lack of experience they claim to have with fed comp due to the fact that my attorney needed to do research for something they do on a daily basis or just another tactic to add on to the invoice in my opinion.
No transparency with how much they charge for reading your emails. When I complained about the invoices and asked for details. Left a message and sent email to lady in charge of billing, didn't hear back from her until she received the email letting their firm know I removed them from my case. An entire retainer billed on two phone calls and probably 8 or so emails. Zero resolution or help and me doing all the leg work on multiple tasks. I could only imagine had I not done those tasks myself.
Research this firm. Check reviews and complaints. Lots of bad reviews and unsatisfied clients. Many fed comp firms out in Texas and Kentucky who can help you for far better rates. Some even read and respond to your emails for free or a small flat rate. This firm, is all about the money not you.
Such a shameful and horrible practice. Hope they get investigated, charged accordingly and are forced to reimburse all the clients they scammed out of hard earned monies.
STAY AWAY, don't believe me?
Try them and come back to review and leave a heart when they also do it to you.
Update. Tried to do mediation with Texas bar and firm declined. My so called attorney also had the nerve to say this during the exchange
"Javier had previously attempted to file a fraudulent fee dispute with his financial institution (i.e. credit card) where he was trying to get a credit card refund AFTER he had received our law firm's services and work was completed. His own credit card company disagreed with his claims as they allowed our law firm to retain the funds for our services. The work and time spent on case is well documented, and as a matter of fact, he has acknowledged the said work. This being the case, it is our understanding that this arbitration is strictly voluntary on the part of the parties, and since we see no basis for this frivolous complaint, we do not wish to participate in this arbitration. If our assumption about this being voluntary is not correct, then please let me know."
The only reason my credit card company declined to refund me is because of The Devadoss law firm contract language as they explained to me in detail. IMPOSSIBLE to get a refund unless contract states it.
Incredible that this firm would actually try and call a dispute with my credit card company "fraudulent" when I was disputing their horrible services and overcharging.
No work was completed and I REMOVED THEM FROM MY CASE because I saw exactly what they were doing. In the English language it's called ROBBERY!. There's a special place in hell waiting for all of them.

This lawyer was the worst mistake I have ever made.
I STILL Don't know why after 3 years during talks about a settlement, my case was dismissed.
Morgan will not tell me what happened
Only that I am wrong about what think happened, and what I was told by the senior and junior lawyer. We paid for an appeal and I think it was a extremely poor representation of what went on in my case and a weak argument. They stopped talking to me after they didn't turn in paperwork and my case was dismissed by the agency. My work filled the case with false statements and speculations that were unchallenged and are now part of my record at the agency which stops me from getting any type of work and the lawyers I paid were on the side of my agency and definitely not in my corner. They stopped representating me half way through and left me high and dry.
I should have listened to the reviews I was reading this law firm does not care about you and how this affects your entire life.
I would like to know what happened after paying my fees and now I am just here
I lost my job, car, and myself
Pick a good lawyer ! It's your life

My experience was poor, my attorneys weren't prepared. They spent more time kowtowing to the judge that actually providing the facts of my case. There were parts of my case and witnesses that were left out that would definitely given more weight and legal ammo to me having a positive out come. The representation was not only unfamiliar with the investigative file the even brought any of the affidavits that would strongly supported my case. I felt not just underrepresented it almost seemed to me that they were findings way to work in concert with the very entity that caused me legal harm. I feel swindled and disappointed that I trusted what I had hoped would be a law firm concerned with the law an fair representation. Now, I have spent money that didn't have to spend only to be set back further financially and legally that ai had been before. Thanks for absolutely nothing Devadoss Law.
