  My husband and I are so glad we found Baker & Baker to handle our guardianship case. We were concerned that the process for transferring a guardianship case from another state and getting it approved in Texas would be a difficult and long process. Mr. Baker and his paralegal, Hailey Hale were wonderful. They were constantly keeping us updated on the progress and took the time to answer any questions we had. After dealing with 3 different attorneys in another state, Baker & Baker was a breath of fresh air. Their professionalism and compassion for what we were dealing with was so appreciated. I would highly recommend them to anyone. I know the next time we need legal advice we will be making a call to them again.

  I have used both husband and wife. They are scammers. My father had a will prepared by mrs baker and when the time came they said he had picked it up and days later I called back again and insisted they check their files and they found it in storage. I met with me baker on my mom to make sure we had things in order since she was diagnosed with dementia, since my sister showed up one week after mom was diagnosed , after 15 years of not talking to my mom to make sure that my sister could not take advantage of my mom and convince my mother to change things. Without meeting my mother he advised me to apply for guardianship and this caused a big family squabble and my sisters convinced my mother that I was trying to take away her rights and her home. Mr baker did not explain to me that this would take away her rights immediately. I thought down the road it would be what we needed when she was incapacitated. In turn my sister took my mother to a different attorney and they changed all her legal documents taking me off everything. The worst $5,000 mistake I ever made was to trust this man. So now my sister that has had nothing to do with my mom for over 15 years is POA and she does not know what my mother wanted. Now I must find another elder attorney I can trust to get things straightened out. My mother does not remember signing papers for my sister to have POA and any other legal documents. DO NOT TRUST THIS husband and wife duo. They are the most dishonest couple. Now I don’t know what attorney I can trust.
