Brandon Bledsoe and his associates billed me 13 hours worth of drafting and revisions for a TRO application with no evidence that got outright attached and then refused to engage in discussion about billing disputes by narrowing what he’d discuss when it came to the dispute. Past reviews on YELP show I’m not alone. Quit on me 6 weeks from a final hearing when I began raising issues with quality of representation. Brandon Bledsoe’s general demeanor towards me was also poor. He laughed in my face when I wanted to explore legal avenues that were appropriate - he just knew I couldn’t afford them. Placed a recorded call in my client file while disregarding other calls made to the firm; just cherry picked one to hinder my ability to find new representation. I also didn’t receive a fully complete client file until 20 days after withdrawal was granted. Overall all Smith & Bledsoe did was over bill me for a sub-par legal filing and then try and bully me into the easiest and quickest way for them to get through the case. I’ve unsurprisingly found more success and gotten more work done on my case Pro Se; wish I had done it sooner. Thanks for stealing my money and making my situation worse, Smith and Bledsoe.

Nikki and her team are the most thoughtful, empathetic, and hard-working legal team I've ever had. They are honest with me, keep my expectations realistic, and fiercely advocate for my children and me. I'm so grateful to have Nikki, India, Holly, and the rest of the team on my side.

I had to give up and let my husband take everything. Nothing was done.

Nikki is an amazing attorney. She represented me and advised me along the way. Nikki always looked out for me along the way. She is not only an exceptional attorney but an exceptional person as well. You can trust her with your life/ issues.

I had the pleasure of spending some time with Christian Smith and Brandon Bledsoe this afternoon. Although we had not met previously, they had heard that I had gone into business for myself here Austin in the same area of practice and contacted me. (We we did have many mutual friends). Out of just kindness and collegial respect they reached out, met up for lunch, and talked with me about my journey and my next steps. Now, you may be wondering, "What does that have to do with my family law case?" I think it has a lot to do with it. First, based on the time that I spent with them I can say that they are clearly talented, knowledgeable, and experienced. And second, if you're dealing with something as important and deeply personal as your family law matter, you want to know that you're leveling with someone on your team who is a good person. Christian and Brandon had no reason to extend their hands to meet with me other than just frankly being good people. There were no strings attached whatsoever, and we just talked about the past, present, and future of our practices. I had a really nice time. In this business, there will inevitably be a time where we will be on opposite sides of a case, and that's completely to be expected. I even expect there will be days down the road that they are annoyed with me. But, in this line of work, you can be competitive and results oriented, while still having a healthy professional relationship with opposing counsel. I recommend this firm moving forward, and I thank them for their kindness and professionalism.
