I had the pleasure of spending some time with Christian Smith and Brandon Bledsoe this afternoon. Although we had not met previously, they had heard that I had gone into business for myself here Austin in the same area of practice and contacted me. (We we did have many mutual friends). Out of just kindness and collegial respect they reached out, met up for lunch, and talked with me about my journey and my next steps. Now, you may be wondering, "What does that have to do with my family law case?" I think it has a lot to do with it. First, based on the time that I spent with them I can say that they are clearly talented, knowledgeable, and experienced. And second, if you're dealing with something as important and deeply personal as your family law matter, you want to know that you're leveling with someone on your team who is a good person. Christian and Brandon had no reason to extend their hands to meet with me other than just frankly being good people. There were no strings attached whatsoever, and we just talked about the past, present, and future of our practices. I had a really nice time. In this business, there will inevitably be a time where we will be on opposite sides of a case, and that's completely to be expected. I even expect there will be days down the road that they are annoyed with me. But, in this line of work, you can be competitive and results oriented, while still having a healthy professional relationship with opposing counsel. I recommend this firm moving forward, and I thank them for their kindness and professionalism.

I had the pleasure of working with Smith & Bledsoe Family Law during a difficult time in my life, and I couldn’t be more grateful for their support and expertise. From the start I was impressed with how approachable and understanding the team was. They really take the time to listen, and it felt like I had someone in my corner every step of the way.
What stands out most about Smith & Bledsoe is their genuine care. They didn't just treat me like another case; they made sure I fully understood the legal process, and were always available to answer questions, no matter how small. The attorneys are incredibly knowledgeable, but what really sets them apart is their ability to navigate the emotional aspects of family law with such compassion.
Thanks to their hard work, I felt confident and well-prepared throughout the entire process, and I couldn’t be happier with the outcome. If you're looking for a law firm that combines legal expertise with real human empathy, Smith & Bledsoe is the firm you want. They made a tough situation much easier to handle, and for that, I’m truly grateful.
