  Catherine acquired our case in 2022 and we were with her for about a year. She is kind and compassionate, listens without judgement and offered practical and professional solutions at every turn. Her decades of experience with the family law system were evident as she worked our case. She is not combative or emotionally reactive; but assertive and highly professional in her communications with other parties. She offered wonderful guidance for every question that we had during our tumultuous process. She came highly recommended and we are so grateful we were able to have such great representation.   Catherine is an exceptionally dedicated, compassionate, and talented lawyer. She is very in tune with the difficult nuances of family law. She handles her cases with care, and precision. She helped me with a difficult divorce, and later fought for me in an awful custody battle. Her incredible competence eventually won the case brought against me, protecting me and my children from great harm. She is a fantastic lawyer. Highly recommended.

  Cathy helped me through the most difficult time of my life. We had many issues to overcome, including a complex tax situation, a high conflict ex-spouse, court appearances both during the divorce and afterward when issues arose, and a modification to improve my custody schedule. Although nobody gets everything they want in a divorce, I don't think anyone could have done any better than she did. Her services more than paid for themselves. If you're going to be paying an attorney for legal representation, you might as well hire one that will negotiate the best deal for you and your family while providing expert advice and guidance along the way. Cathy was also very responsive to my needs, as was her staff. If I need to go back to mediation or court again, I will be contacting Cathy for help.

  As a parent, one of the most terrifying, emotionally charged situations I've experienced is finding myself in a child custody lawsuit. To compound that fear, I had no idea of who could or should represent me in the most important battle I may ever face, and it was paralyzing. Catherine was highly recommended to me by a prominent Austin attorney who practices law in another field. There are numerous reasons Catherine is both revered by her peers and ranked as a top Family Law attorney by the clients she has represented. She actively listens to absorb every detail of your case which allows her to identify all of the relevant information, to formulate multiple strategies, and then to analyze each angle to identify the most effective strategy. Catherine seamlessly navigates the nuances which make each case unique, and her execution and implementation is consistently thorough, well thought out, and diplomatic There is a singular, unknown skill set that very few of us are aware to look for when researching attorneys, and it is vital. I learned this from closely observing Catherine's conduct and process during our court hearings, and I only understood the importance when I experienced it firsthand. The attorney you hire needs to possess the instinct and intuition to accurately perceive, discern and react to everything that is not being said by the judge, the opposing council, any witnesses, and all other parties involved. In court, every statement made on behalf of both the Plaintiff and Defendant is intended to serve as evidence to either support or invalidate your argument, and no one is going to voluntarily reveal the cards in their hand. I believe Catherine’s ability to read people well enough to hone in on things that are not being spoken is exceedingly rare as it is not an attribute one can learn in law school, and this is exactly reason she has been able to establish an impeccable track record. When all of these strengths are combined with integrity, you get Catherine. She is a force to be reckoned with, and the only reason I maintain custody of my children.
