  She had my hopes up. But it was nothing but a money train. She went on vacations and bought a new house. I’m almost 3 years in this separation and I have so much to be divorced already. I’m being go into detail on this issue for our child’s sake. But it’s nothing but a money train. I thoroughly trusted her and when I would make cash deposits, they disappeared. Yeah right! Her as a mom should know what it feels like to be in this same situation. I’m heartbroken over this and our daughter and myself need closure. But here we are…still in the temp order almost three years later.

  Highly Recommend Lisa Carver and The Carver Law Firm Ms. Lisa Carver served as the Guardian ad Litem in my divorce and custody case, and while our relationship began with some tough conversations, I quickly came to understand and deeply respect her role and commitment to protecting my daughter. At first, Lisa was critical of my past decisions—especially staying in a highly toxic and abusive relationship longer than I should have—but over time, I realized how necessary her honesty and scrutiny were. Her top priority was, and always remained, the safety and well-being of my child. Lisa handled an extremely difficult case with professionalism and fairness. My ex has a long, troubling history involving multiple arrests, substance abuse, violence, manipulation, and dishonesty, yet Lisa was able to uncover the truth through thorough investigations, drug testing, home visits, and interviews with everyone involved. She held both parents to the same high standard and made recommendations based solely on what was best for my daughter. Even though I didn’t agree with every single word in her final report, I am beyond grateful for the time, energy, and care she put into it. Her recommendation along with lots of other evidence led to the court granting me sole custody—an outcome that finally ensured my daughter’s safety and stability. Lisa was also highly responsive, returning my calls and emails promptly (within 24–48 hours), and she was always available when needed. Her billing was fair and flexible—never once did she threaten to stop working on my case over a payment. I also want to give a special thank you to Kristen, who was kind and efficient in relaying important information and helping keep communication smooth throughout.
