- SDsteven doranMar 13, 20251.0Probably really good law firm for bigger companies. Definitely not fit for small blue collar startups like me. I only had a couple small dumb questions that I couldn’t get a straight answer from google search myself. Got talked into paying a thousand dollars retainer with these guys which was almost $1300 somehow. And then I got nicked and dimmed for every single email and extra “time” charges they felt fit. Like I said probably a great firm for bigger companies that have money to burn but not me and I would stay far away if your money matters to you. Cool guys but you are literally charged for everything, down to every single email. 🤦 so now I owe more than the original thousand dollars for literally less than a “actual” hour worth of work. To top it off the standard contract I needed them to draw up for me had someone else’s name on it so they just copy and pasted it from someone else’s file. They spent more time fixing their own mistakes than they did actually working on my work and charged me for the time. Not to mention I wasn’t allowed to know how much of my retainer fee was used until I went negative and now owe more money. Such a bad experience from a company that was highly recommended to me. 🤦
