  UPDATE!! NOW, AFTER TALKING TO FRANK FROM CLEARFIELD ASSOCIATES AND MY OWN PERSONAL RESOURCES, I HAVE A CLEAR UNDERSTAND OF WHAT IS HAPPENING. THE SCHEME THAT'S HAPPENING AT THIS FIRM AND PROBABLY MANY OTHER FIRMS AND THE DYNAMIC BETWEEN THEM AND PHYSICAL THERAPY FACILITIES IS INFLATION OF THE MEDICAL BILL. THEY HAVE AN AGREEMENT TO INFLATE THE BILL FOR THE OVERALL OUTCOME OF THE CASE. THE HIGHER THE MEDICAL BILL THE HIGHER THE SETTLEMENT OFFER WILL BE. THE LAWYERS GET THEIR 40% OFF OF THE TOP SO THEIR PAYOUT WON'T DECREASE. ONLY THE CLIENTS PAY OUT DECREASES. THE LAWYERS ARE SUPPOSED TO NEGOTIATE THE MEDICAL BILL FOR 30% - 50% LESS ON BEHALF OF THE CLIENT BUT INSTEAD THEY DON'T. THE PHYSICAL THERAPY GETS THEIR TRUE BILL IN RETURN FOR THE INFLATION OF THE BILL THAT SUPPORTS THE NEED FOR A HIGHER SETTLEMENT FROM THE DEFENDANT. THEREFORE, IN MY CASE PA PAIN & REHAB INFLATED MY BILL TO $13,425 WHEN IN ACTUALITY IT WAS $4,000. MY LAWYERS SHOULD HAVE DONE THEIR JOB AND STUCK TO THEIR OATH AND NEGOTIATED FROM THE $4,000. THE END RESULTS SHOULD HAVE BEEN POSSIBLY $2,500 TO PA PAIN & REHAB WHICH MEANS I SHOULD HAVE GOTTEN AN ADDITIONAL $1,000 OR MORE. SO BOOM THAT'S WHAT'S HAPPENING YAW AND SHOULD BE REPORTED TO THE BAR ASSOCIATION FOR A FULL INVESTIGATION. I strongly urge anyone considering Clearfield & Kofsky to think twice. My injury case, which started over two and a half years ago, just now reached a settlement. The lack of communication from this office was absolutely atrocious. I was left in the dark for months, with no updates and no transparency. Worse yet, I believe they lied about my medical bills to keep more of my settlement. The settlement was for $27,500, and out of that, I received only $10,485. They claimed that 24 visits over four months cost $13,425, which is completely false and doesn’t even add up. I suspect they’re in cahoots with PA Pain & Rehab. I will be reporting them to the bar association for a full investigation. Please be cautious—this is not a firm you can trust.

  I called Ron Clearfield for my car accident and he was very helpful. He explained the legal process and was able to get her me through the process. I recommend anyone who had an accident to call Ron.

  I put in an inquiry last night at 10:30 I immediately received a phone call from Mr. Ronald about my case and about 9:30 this morning Mr Richard who is one of Mr Ronald investigators called me about my case and he came out and got all of the information he needed. They are very professional and concerned.
