I highly recommend this firm. When I reached out to Sean Ruppert’s firm he personally consulted me and my family. We were worried sick about the situation my 3 year old son was in. When he took on our case and assigned his associate Richard L. Manilla, Esq.(Perry Mason of Armstrong county) to us we felt so relieved. Richard is the not only best family law attorney in Armstrong county he’s the top of his class. The amount of care and attention we received was incredible. They not only went above and beyond but ensured the safety and happiness for my Son. Again I cannot recommend this firm enough. Especially if you live in Armstrong county. I’ve had the pleasure to even have Sean Ruppert represent me as well during my custody hearing’s. My whole experience was hard and emotionally exhausting but having the support of this processional and experienced legal team is priceless.

I cannot recommend Sean and team enough. I wanted nothing to do with attorneys or court stuff but had a situation that was out of my control and needed an attorney. From day 1 - he helped me understand the process and walked with me through the most challenging and emotional experience of my life. Because Sean and team are so well prepared and helped me understand the process instead of getting caught up in the emotion of it all - every best case scenario worked out. I cannot stress enough how amazing Sean and team were. Professional, compassionate, and amazing. Highly recommended.

A REAL REVIEW if you want to constantly hear "your lawyer filed this but it wasn't done properly" from the Prothonotary office, then this is your firm If you want some one that actually knows what they are doing - find another firm. I have had to refile almost my entire divorce b/c these guys apparently got law degrees from cereal box mail ins. Things that wee supposed to be included in the divorce filing were missing. injunctive relief was filed incorrectly and he's been trying to diminish assets. They pretty much left me open to a ton of financial abuse from my X husband and refused to file the documents that were needed to keep the house out of sheriffs sale. I'd wager that the 5 star reviews on here are curated or generated b/c the knowledge and performance of their firm does not match up at all to the 5 star reviews. When I asked their firm why they were doing such a sloppy mess of a job they just quit. Which was apparently for the best. b/c if I'm going to have to go to court with someone that doesn't have a damned clue what they are doing - it might as well be me instead of wasting 4k on a firm that can't even properly file paperwork. Like the fundamental basis of their job is paperwork and that's a mess. If you are considering this firm, Do not. They really buggered up my situation and I'm having to redo each step myself b/c it's just a bunch of kids half arsing their way through without any real knowledge or experience, sry but failing at being a personal injury lawyer makes you an even worse divorce lawyer.

Frequently Asked Questions About Ruppert Law Firm LLC

Who gets the house in a Pennsylvania divorce?

Neither spouse has an automatic claim to the house in a Pennsylvania divorce. Ideally, the couple will decide how to handle the home together during the asset division process. Typically, that means selling the home and dividing the proceeds. In some situations, however, one party may want to keep the house and take that as part of their equitable share of the marital assets.

How is property split in a Pennsylvania divorce?

In Pennsylvania divorces, the principle of equitable distribution governs property division and is guided by a judge’s assessment of fairness (Pa. C.S.A. – Title 23 – Chapter 35 § 3502). This diverges from community property states, where a 50-50 split is standard. In Pennsylvania, distribution can be more flexible because fairness is the priority. Asset division considers factors like the duration of the marriage, each spouse’s separate financial means, and their individual contributions to the marriage.
