  Opinion based on my experience. Hello??— this guy NEVER responds to our attorney so he has kept us from our family member for 4 + years!! Do your job! Answer the phone! Read your email. Call your client and be appropriate in your counsel. The other reviews say it all. He seems confused and incompetent. He will take your money though. Retire already if you can’t do your job! Stop messing with people’s lives. DO NOT RETAIN HIS SERVICES UNLESS YOU HAVE MONEY TO THROW AWAY FOR NOTHING IN RETURN BUT HEARTACHES AND HEADACHES!!!

  If I could rate 0 stars, I would. Negative stars would be more accurate. He was extremely difficult to communicate with. Responses could take 3-5 weeks on his end. When he did respond, he would not address direct questions from me (paid client by that point). When I pressed the matter, he'd say that he didn't see where I had asked about (whatever the query was). I'd respond with a reference to which email, and which paragraph, I'd made the request in... and he'd ignore the question. All in all, he likes to hear himself talk and likes to bill you for it. He billed me over 3k for work that was not seeking the end result I'd asked for. (Child custody- I was seeking full custody and he kept drawing up paperwork for visitation only despite clear directives). 0/10 ... would not recommend. He talks a great pitch but in the end, he will bleed you dry, accomplish nothing, and leave you worse off than before. I'm probably going to lose my relationship with my daughter because of how badly this jackal damaged my case by not doing what he was hired to do and continuing to spend the retainer preparing paperwork (responses to the motion by the other party) that didn't seek full custody, despite clear written directions to either seek full custody or end the client/attorney relationship. He vindictively billed for work not authorized when he knew he had already done poorly and was going to be fired from the case. Don't be led astray by all his fake candor. He won't fight for your place in your child's life. And he will drain your bank account. I thought I was better off with him than with no attorney but I was wrong. Don't make the mistakes I did.

  I will keep this short... Worst... Attorney... Ever. Clearly a very biased and unprofessional person. Pure Grabbler. Do not hire this man he is a WOMAN HATER like I have never in my life seen.

  Hired Gordon to handle a child custody/visitation matter. From the beginning he seemed out of synch. Could not grasp the gist of what I had been through. At one point when I was demonstrating evidence he told me that now he was beginning to believe me!! Always unprepared for our meetings. Had to rehash everything to churn 30 minutes before getting to what was on the agenda that day. Would send an assignment usually the night before meeting. Too comprehensive to complete. Or, when I stayed up all night doing one of these I emailed it back to him and at our meeting he said he never got it. Then he said it went to his spam folder. If you are looking to hire an attorney that will do absolutely nothing for you and have him rip you off of your money this is the guy. BEWARE

  I have nothing but great things to say about my attorney of 3 1/2 years, Gordon Dick. Gordon walked me through the maze of a very contentious divorce. He kept my emotions in check and never gave false promises. He again provided the most amazing service to me as I fought my Ex in moving to Washington with our children. We absolutely prevailed in court, hands down. The only thing I regret is not finding him sooner. Gordon really does want what's best for his clients and their children. He know's what he's doing and he's worth every penny. Was my divorce/move expensive? Yes. Hiring an attorney is ALWAYS expensive. Before I found Gordon, I interviewed many attorneys and they ALL charged around the same rate. So I figured, why not hire the best? Why take a chance on someone less established? In your search for an attorney, the best advice I can offer is this: Steer clear of any lawyer who tells you what you want to hear (if it sounds too good to be true, it is) and find one that has at least 20 years of expertise. You won't regret it.
