The Native American Program, Legal Aid Services of Oregon (NAPOLS) is a non-profit legal services organization.
NAPOLS provides specialized, free legal services to income-eligible Indian tribes, Native organizations, and individuals.
NAPOLS can accept cases involving Indian law, tribal law, or a client's tribal status.
Please note that NAPOLS does not help clients sue Indian tribes.
Due to limited resources, NAPOLS cannot accept all eligible cases. We review all requests for assistance, on a case-by-case basis, to see if they meet our case acceptance and priority criteria. If NAPOLS can't take your case, we will try to refer you to other resources.
