  McKean & McKean Attorneys at Law — 5 Stars Finding legal representation for an out-of-state estate probate case is not easy. Attorneys outside of Ohio were pressuring me to file in their state, but they couldn't handle the Ohio real estate component — and I wasn't comfortable moving forward until I heard the same answer from an Ohio attorney. The problem was, I couldn't find one. Personal referrals were too busy to take me on, and most attorneys I reached out to cold never called back. Time was running out, other people were involved in the estate, and I was losing hope fast. Then I found McKean & McKean — and everything changed. From the first interaction, they were professional, knowledgeable, and refreshingly honest. When answers weren't black and white, they gave educated guidance and clearly explained their reasoning — and they turned out to be right every time. That kind of transparency under pressure meant everything. My primary contact was Nicole Sweet, and she set the bar high from day one. She was respectful of everyone's time, thorough in gathering exactly what was needed for a complex and unique case, and her follow-through never wavered. She kept the whole process moving and gave us genuine confidence that we were in good hands. Probate is not something anyone chooses. You're managing business while grieving, and it's neither easy nor pleasant.   Highly professional law firm. Attorneys are very accessible. Promptly returned my phone calls and my emails. Broke down my legal situation into very understandable language which I highly appreciated. Did not sugar coat my situation or try to pad my legal bill. They were able to recover funds due to me in a very timely manner. Best of all I knew I had advocates in my corner that did not put up with the other side’s assertions. I have to admit, it felt good to win! Thank you McKean and McKean!
