- BTB TNov 14, 20255.0Kelly and his team handled our 5+ year probate nightmare and made it much easier to navigate and accomplish with our sanity remaining intact. The Franklin County (OH) Probate Court is not to blame for these challenges. When a family member (in this case, two simultaneous and horrific deaths) passes away without a will and other family members are difficult to reason and/or work with, you WILL need an effective attorney. Kelly Parks was the absolute best person for the job and I thank him with absolute sincerity. Kelly was patient (with me), assertive (with the problem), and diligent with the process. He was our second attorney as our initial choice of a law firm did not work out. Much of the challenge was during the 2020-21 COVID-19 debacle which muddied the waters even more. Again, Kelly and his team navigated us through the craziness and as promised, we closed! It was a long process, but Kelly was handed a doozie! He never balked at the challenge and never faltered. I don't know how Kelly and his team do it, but they do! And are amazing...! Thank you Parks Legal! We made it! Five years, but more importantly, five stars!

Based on reviews, 3 of those firms I immediately disqualified based on repeated bad reviews. However Meredith from this firm called me and spoke with me about their skills, fees, etc. She made me feel comfortable talking with her and she understood the intake information about my case. I explained I was vetting a few other firms including a recommendation from a friend. Meredith made periodic follow-up calls to check in. Ultimately I went with another firm based on the recommendation. Parks Legal would have been my choice if not for that. They're my next choice if things don't work out. They made me feel like a client before I was and not like a piece of fresh meat which was the vibe I got from other firms. They made me feel comfortable, human and took the time to listen. They also communicate well which is a big thing for me.
