  I had the pleasure of working with Brad and Jonathan Powell, and Penny Blitz after I was involved in a motorcycle accident. In the beginning I thought I could handle the negotiations with the insurance company myself but soon realized they weren't offering what I probably deserved. After retaining Brad and his team they thoroughly reviewed my accident, interviewed the doctors, reviewed medical records, and familiarized themselves with my case. We went through several negotiations and mediation with the insurance company but ultimately went to trial. Brad, Jonathan, and Penny were all extremely professional and organized throughout the trial and ultimately secured a settlement far greater than what I anticipated. Their professionalism and experience is second to none and I would gladly refer them to anyone who found themselves in a similar situation as me.

  Jon Powell represented me, and I couldn’t have asked for a better lawyer, honestly! From the very beginning I felt like I could trust him and rely on him to meet our common goal. He made me feel at ease every time we met, and that was the biggest thing for me. For anyone out there looking for a lawyer, I highly recommend Jon. And I could almost guarantee you’ll have the same experience/feelings.

  I hired Droder & Miller on recommendation by a friend in our Christian family network. I took this advice and was given a very small retainer. Before I had left out of the room for my “free consult” I had been billed over the amount for the free retainer. I hired them for one thing it ended up turning into another they lost control of the case. They didn’t know what they were doing because the nature of my case changed and instead of pulling off of the case because of change in issue and jurisdiction they continued to press forward. They initially withdrew as my counsel on Christmas Eve without warning in a case against my abusive ex - they said it was because I wasn’t “listening” when in fact they were not listening to me. My ex stole 64k from me and my ex admirer to misappropriating the funds. My ex offered my 64k back in exchange for all of my companies and assets valued at 5 million. He also witheld my PhD research, locked me out of my company and extorted me through another org. I hired DM to sell my shares out of a completely different company but my ex is associated with both entities and used it to his advantage to confuse the attorneys and conflate costs. I wanted to hire a cyber security expert and DM didn’t want me to do this so I didn’t - Today in court I was told that DM said that I wanted them to do something illegal which is clear evidence they don’t know anything about what I was talking about and should have simply stated this is out of our core competency and jurisdiction. As they didn’t believe in me naturally I was extorted and did not collect my money, lost my company, had to start my PhD research over after 10 years got pushed out of my non profit all while DM was standing by. They told me it would cost 100k to file a lawsuit. They filed one against me instead (clearly not costing 100k) as the victim for fees they claimed they were out of for emails they said they read even though every time we talked they said they hadn’t read my emails. Do not hire this firm. Total waste of time and money. And as a domestic abuse victim I’m indignant that the little money I had went to them because of misrepresented things and unauthorized charges rather than litigation, collection and getting my case to a competent attorney.
