Dont waste your money! This guy is a complete mess. He sent me someone's divorce case when asked for my file. Was completely disorganized in court which caused me to lose even more time away from my daughter. He really needs to retire, children shouldn't be used in the manner they are being used in.

I wish I could give a negative star. He is incompetent, rude, unorganized. He has no interest in his clients except to over bill. Id rather a gold fish as my attorney then him. Thats not a joke. They'd do a better job.

Rude and charged up stuff totally unnecessary at last minute. Says only cost me 2k for a basic divorce and turned out 5.5k not happy, but the only reason I gave 2 stars is because I got better results than expected. He screamed at me because he was stressed out. Not cool!!

I have been searching for a divorce attorney in the Syracuse area to assist in an amicable, no-fault divorce I am currently going through with my wife. I just got off the phone with Vince Finocchio who was incredibly rude and disrespectful. Please allow me to explain. You will want to read this before deciding on hiring this law firm. I told Vince that I did not need representation in court as my wife and I had decided on how to settle our debts and had agreed to our terms. I explained that we looked into filing the no-fault divorce ourselves as this is something available in New York but were unsure how to correctly separate our joint debts. I asked Vince for his service in separating our finances and filing for divorce so that it was done correctly. Vince's response was that he was "not a telephone hotline for advice" and that lawyers are paid hourly for their work. I said, "I understand that, Sir, I am looking to hire your services to help separate my debts and file my divorce." Vince responded in sum by saying that he does not represent two parties in a divorce and that I was naïve to think that my wife would not seek her own representation. He told me to stop saying "we" in describing my wife and I's divorce agreement. He also said, "It's not that I want to go to war, but..." suggesting that he would not handle a divorce that was amicable. I used "we" because my wife and I have agreed to OUR terms in OUR divorce; however, I reiterated that he would be representing myself in the process (which would not involve the Courts). I have never spoken to a "professional" that was more demeaning and rude during an initial consultation for services. Our conversation lasted a mere 4 minutes and 30 seconds before I had to say, "Sir, you have called me naïve and been incredibly disrespectful throughout this entire conversation," to which Vince replied, "You do not qualify for my representation, good bye." He then hung up the phone. I am a commissioned officer in the Army National Guard and a Pharmaceutical Chemist. I not only have the means to pay Mr. Finocchio for his time and service but I am respectful and educated. For a complete stranger to both laugh sarcastically, raise his voice and call me naïve in an initial consultation is completely unwarranted and unworthy of ANYONE's service. I do not highlight the fact that I am a service member or chemist as a way to place myself above others, but rather to reflect that I know a thing or two about respect and service. If Mr. Finocchio is willing to treat me this way, how would one expect him to treat someone who did not have an education or the means to pay up front, etc? This is not a compassionate or professional man. It sounds to me as though Mr. Finocchio is more concerned with a long drawn-out "war" in court where he can exploit clientele that are indeed "naïve" so that he may fill his pocket books. Please take the advice of a man who chose to serve because he cares about his community and his country: this is not a man you want to hire for any reason. There are plenty of other lawyers willing to be respectful and caring while also not trying to exploit your case for profits. Furthermore, if Mr. Finocchio decides to dispute this honest and accurate review in any way, I will be more than happy to provide a copy of the recorded conversation. You Mr. Finocchio, "do not qualify for my services, good bye."
