I was charged with theft of service (taxicab) on two separate occasions (the second instance had an assault charge thrown into the mix as well). In both cases I knew I was not guilty, but was an anxious mess nonetheless having had no prior experience with the law and fearing the possibility of deportation. To compound matters, in both instances I had to travel across the border several times while the case was still open. Matthew was very gracious about dealing with my anxiety and was always available to discuss my case. He is clearly passionate about what he does and about fighting for his clients. He has a confidence about him where you just know you're in great hands. He's a great lawyer, but a really good person as well! He is a down to earth and is very understanding of your situation.
