  stay away from jennifer goody the only thing she cares about is leaving you penniless.she will drag your case on on purpose as she did mine.she charged me $30,000 to get 3 QADROS done that i paid lexington law firm to do in 2021 they emailed her in 2022 that it was done.they emailed her about it she did not answer the email and i was calling every month if they were done.i asked her for 4 yrs to hold my x in contempt but she refused she dragged it out for four yrs until the end of 2024 she finally held her in contempt and it was done within 3 months so why didn’t she do that in 2021 when she hired lexington law firm.i was also forced to pay lexington twice i think it was $1300 each time because of ms goody my kids first attorney i gave $1500 to and she took the money and ran and ms goody did nothing about it for me.but in 2025 she held me in contempt for over $34,000 or she would seize my bank accounts put a lean on my house all because she refused to hold her in contempt for 4 yrs but i have email that lexington had everything done in 2022 emailed her and got no response.also she was talking with my trying to get her to comply but charging me when i specifically told her to not talk or have any descusions with her but she ignored me but she said she would get me $10,000 in lawyer fees for me from my x but got $2500.she completely lied to me purposely dragged it out to squeeze every dime out of me where as i had to re mortgage my house to pay her.stay far away from her she will lead you on make promises and screw you in the end and she does not care about the kids caught in the middle because my kids were horribly represented by a attorney ms mari.you have been warned stay far away from this attorney and if you don’t don’t cry about your bill and how she dragged the case out for many yrs.also my full bill was ruffly $150,000 and also my papers were signed in 2020 then signed by the judge about a yr later and i paid her about $90,000 in cash.please do yourself a favor stay away from her settle on your own or you will be bled dry on purpose.new york is the worst state for divorces and the lawyers and judges work together to screw you and force you into settling for something that will hurt your kids.

  Jennifer Goody is extremely knowledgeable. She’s easy to talk too and helped me through my difficult time. She did an amazing job. Was very satisfied!

  My ex-husband served me with papers to amend our child support agreement. I was blind sided. I had to find a lawyer - fast. Ms. Goody was recommended to me by a former neighbor who is also a lawyer. She originally told me the fee was $1500 (which in itself is a lot of money to me), and that she was almost positive she would be able to easily work this out with my ex's lawyer and that we would not have to go to court. then I had to find out from my ex-husband (NOT from Ms. Goody) about our upcoming court date; then I had to pay Ms. Goody an additional $750 to cover the court costs; and then, when the court visit went an hour longer than she thought it would (even though I got there an HOUR before she even showed up), she dared to charge me over $400 for that additional hour of standing around in court. And then after all that, my ex husband didn't even pay me the agreed-upon amount, until about 6 weeks later, after I continually badgered him for the money.
