  I would like to give this Firm praise (Dan Silverman) because I received a call back within 25 minutes of inquiring about some work related issues I am having. Let’s be clear here I’m a New Jersey native but I now live and work in Virginia, unfortunately I didn’t thoroughly read the website clearly nonetheless he was prompt and helpful and didn’t blow me off because I was not able to receive help because of my location. He heard me out even though he doesn’t practice in my current state of residence. That alone made my day brighter. I highly recommend Dan Silverman and this firm. 20 Stars, Thank You Dan.

  Kevin, Tracey and Brooke truly made sure I understood **every** step of the process, which meant a lot to me. I struggled with the decision to go forward with legal action for a ton a reasons but they made me feel heard and understood. What stood out the most was the judgment-free environment they created. The scenarios I went through and wanted to sue for were extremely personal, however I felt genuinely safe opening up and they handled everything with care! Lawsuits can take time but their consistent communication really helped ease my stress--l never once felt ignored or unsure about reaching out with questions even while I was impatient/ anxious. They were very upfront of what routes they thought the case could take and made sure all of my decisions were well informed to be made with my confidence. Definitely felt like my hand was being held by everyone throughout this process! Lol. You can tell they truly care and put their whole effort into what they do. I felt excited trusting them with my case, and in the end, they proved I made the right choice.

  I contacted this firm regarding a potential case, but they ultimately declined representation, citing reasons such as scope limitations, insufficient financial loss, difficulty substantiating a missed promotion, and challenges in proving a schedule change violation. During the conversation, I became concerned about their depth of understanding of USERRA and the scope of ESGR-related violations. Several of the reasons provided did not fully align with my understanding of these protections, and when I addressed those points, it did not appear to influence their position. Additionally, the interaction itself raised some concerns. There were moments where communication felt unclear, and assumptions were made about my perspective that did not accurately reflect what I expressed. While the representative stated familiarity with USERRA, that familiarity was not clearly demonstrated during the discussion. At the conclusion of the call, I was advised to reach back out if the issue persists after my current orders. That recommendation was confusing, as it raises the question of why I would return to a firm that indicated they could not effectively handle the matter in its current form. Based on the overall experience, I would not have chosen to move forward with this firm regardless of their decision.

If you are seeking honest and integral counselor, do yourself a favor and call Costello and Main, ask for Mr. Kevin Costello, you won’t be disappointed.
