  I hired Albert Acquaviva Attorney to represent my grandson and he charged me $7500. I texted callled and sent him the court letter when court was. I asked him numerous times to go consult with my grandson who is incarcerated in Bergen County Jail he stated it was not necessary. I called Paterson Court because they had a public defender listed as his attorney. I called Acquaviva’s office and him and sent texts to make sure he filed the papers to represent him. He assured me he did. After months my grandson had a court date today and Attorney Acquaviva didn’t show up. I want my $7500. returned and will be filing a complaint with the bar association. I’m a 76 years old woman on Social Security and he’s scamming us. A public defender represented my grandson last minute because he felt sorry for my grandson. Beware don’t ever hire this firm. Attorney Acquaviva called and said he was late for court and spoke on behalf of my grandsons case. Hopefully things go better.

  "Al Aquavivia is a great lawyer. There are two types lawyers that are out there litigators and lawyers that pretend to be litigators. Al is the guy that you bring to court to argue your case and gives you that extra edge to tip in your favor. " Has been my attorney over 10 years. All different matters Criminal attorney, Civil litigation attorney, zoning matters. He has also defended me in frivolous lawsuits that were brought against me.He is an honest attorney. Which in this day and age is very hard to find. I recommend and trust him.
