  Love love love Jennifer Flatow, Esq and everyone at this law firm. First, I’d like to thank Ashley Cooper, Esq for the very generous number of consultation calls and emails with me during the early stages of my separation from my husband and for her glowing recommendation of Jennifer Flatow. I would also like to thank all the staff at the firm who work behind the scenes and who helped with my case including Anne Rudden and Emma Weiner, Esq. Their support truly made a difference. I retained Jennifer during the most traumatic time in my life and she has been my rock from day one. She continues to do an excellent job representing my interests.   I retained Jennifer E. Flatow, Esq. as Guardian ad Litem by court order, issued by the fifth judge (of 7 judges to date) assigned to my case. I had no role in selecting her. The retainer agreement limited her role to fact-finding: interviewing parties and witnesses, collecting documents, and conferring with counsel on notice to both sides. Between March 2024 and September 2025, invoices reflected charges for therapy coordination, medical and school communications, and parenting-time logistics - all activities that, under both the retainer and Rule 5:8B, require prior court approval. I have formally objected to thousands of dollars in charges as work performed outside the authorized scope and have requested corrected billing. My experience highlights why families should carefully review any GAL retainer and confirm that all billed services stay within the limits set by the court.

  I recently had to go through a divorce which is a very emotional process. I considered the possibility of filling out all the paperwork with my husband at the time. It was overwhelming to me. I decided to hire a lawyer, Jennifer E. Flatow. Well worth the cost. She wasted no time, made sure all the information needed was gathered, and was sensitive to my feelings throughout. Jennifer is a "down to earth" gal, not a slick distant snooty lawyer. I felt comfortable talking with her. In addition, she was courtesy towards my ex-husband which was important to me. I will always be grateful for her helping hands during a very difficult transition.

  Gale is a phenomenal attorney who truly cares about her clients. Gale takes the time to explain the divorce process and is supportive and understanding through the most difficult of times. Day and night Gale has taken the time to answer my emails and calls and has never once left me to fend for myself or without an answer. I take comfort in knowing that throughout my complicated situation which will be ongoing, I have Gale by side every step of the way. She fights for her clients and in the end does everything in her power to protect and do what is right for everyone involved. I highly recommend Gale for any family law issues!
