  Going to court against my narcissistic ex was incredibly difficult. I can’t imagine getting through it without Jennifer. I had my own attorney and consulted with several others, but many lawyers are simply not prepared for the manipulation and chaos that come with a high-conflict case. Jennifer was different. From the very beginning, she gave me a sense of relief and confidence. Throughout the entire process, I felt protected and supported. She fights tirelessly for her clients and never backs down, no matter how difficult the situation. Jennifer is brilliant, always fully prepared, and extremely responsive. Even when hearings came up with only a few hours’ notice, she stepped in immediately. Focused, and completely in control. She truly never gives up. Though the divorce seemed never-ending, I always knew Jennifer had my back. Speaking from experience, don’t waste time with anyone else. Jennifer is truly exceptional.

  I retained Jennifer E. Flatow, Esq. as Guardian ad Litem by court order, issued by the fifth judge (of 7 judges to date) assigned to my case. I had no role in selecting her. The retainer agreement limited her role to fact-finding: interviewing parties and witnesses, collecting documents, and conferring with counsel on notice to both sides. Between March 2024 and September 2025, invoices reflected charges for therapy coordination, medical and school communications, and parenting-time logistics - all activities that, under both the retainer and Rule 5:8B, require prior court approval. I have formally objected to thousands of dollars in charges as work performed outside the authorized scope and have requested corrected billing. My experience highlights why families should carefully review any GAL retainer and confirm that all billed services stay within the limits set by the court.

  We sought Ashley Cooper's counsel for my mother's divorce case. My mom was in a totally hopeless situation. She found out that my dad secretly sold their family business and he was going to take the money and run away to his country in less then 2 weeks. We talked to two lawyers prior to finding Ashley and they all said that stopping my dad was not possible. Ashley got a judge to sign a court order freezing my dads money and putting him on travel ban less then 24 hrs after hiring her. She is hands down the best lawyer I have ever come across. She is understanding, super intelligent, aggressive and knows all the ins and outs of matrimonial law. I would not hesitate to seek her counsel again if needed.
