  I had a very disappointing experience with this mediation service. I felt pressured into signing an agreement that was not equitable and was clearly more favorable to the other party. Rather than facilitating a balanced discussion, I was repeatedly told this was “the best I was going to get,” which made me feel unheard and unsupported. Instead of addressing the concerns I raised during mediation, I was advised to “go back to court” if issues came up later. That defeats the purpose of mediation and has now resulted in additional legal costs for me because the issues I brought up were not properly addressed at the time. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this mediator to anyone looking for a fair, neutral, and thorough mediation process.

  My case dragged on for more than three years and was only truly resolved in late 2025. It was one of the most exhausting and heartbreaking experiences of my life. Through every delay, every setback, and every moment the defendant refused to follow the court’s Equitable Distribution order, Sonya Dubree and Steve Mansbery stood by me with unwavering dedication. Sonya and Steve were extraordinary. They didn’t just represent me; they supported me through one of the most traumatic and challenging periods of my life. From the start, they proved themselves to be a powerhouse team in the courtroom. From my Alimony trial to the Equitable Distribution hearing, they were prepared, confident, and deeply knowledgeable. Steve’s financial expertise was unmatched. He identified critical flaws in the opposing experts' testimony and presented them so clearly that it played a major role in the favorable outcome I received. Sonya was poised, strategic, and exceptional in how she handled the courtroom. Despite the judge issuing the Equitable Distribution order, the defendant failed to adhere to any of the court’s directives, and I was forced to pursue multiple motions, contempts, and sanctions to enforce the order. Yet Sonya and Steve carried the weight of this case with absolute integrity, meeting every deadline, following every rule, and doing far more than what was required to protect me. Despite repeatedly failing to meet his obligations, the defendant still dumped more than 6,500 pages of documents just days before trial. Sonya and Steve worked through the holidays to prepare and make sure I was protected. Their dedication was beyond anything I expected. During Sonya's secured leave, Steve carried the full weight of finalizing my case. He worked with the defendant’s fourth attorney and navigated constant obstruction and delay, yet he never gave up. He stayed patient, strategic, and compassionate, and ultimately convinced the defendant to accept the settlement rather than risk even harsher consequences in court. During the hardest moments of this case, Steve was the one who kept me steady. His clarity, patience, and genuine care guided me through times when the judicial system felt overwhelming and discouraging. He always made sure I understood my options and never felt alone in the process. I could not have reached the end of this without him. This process has taken a tremendous toll on my life, my health, my finances, and my peace of mind. Yet Sonya and Steve stood by me the entire time with professionalism, integrity, and genuine care. They are exceptional attorneys and extraordinary human beings. They fought for me, supported me, and gave me strength when I had none left.
