  I hired Melody Davalos, Life Law, to represent me in a cival and criminal matter. To say my experience with their "representation" of me was unsatisfactory would be a gross understatement. The only thing they did efficiently and in a timely manor was take my money. I had to email them multiple times before getting a response. I scheduled multiple phone consultations that were never done. One of which, Melody was on vacation during the scheduled call. I sat by myself in court for most of the day, with no represention that showed up. The judge had to text Melody to find out where she was at and why her client had no representation present on a scheduled court date. Add to that, the only evidence of any communication between Melody and the prosecutor in my case happened almost 5 months after I hired life law. Then there was the misinformation, half truths, and in some cases, flat out lies that came from Melody. I would highly recommend staying away from life law for anything more serious than a traffic ticket. They will take your money and just tell you to deal with it. A junior public defender would be a better option.

  I had a 5 star review up for her for several years, but I must caution everyone from hiring this attorney. She bills egregiously and misappropriated my trust. She missed critical intel in my case leading to excessive continuances, she also defied my request for years citing patience but in all actuality she was just creating more billing. You are better off going to the help desk and saving thousands of dollars then hiring this joke of an office. She was great when small but just doesn’t have the right supporting cast and is highly distracted with vacations and other matters STAY AWAY. …. Pending board complaint.
