As the seller, our home closed today and, just as I called it two weeks ago, Pendleton has no idea there bank was closing early today due to the holiday, so the buyer has possession of our keys and home, and we do not have our settlement funds and no guarantee we will have them Friday. When I learned Pendleton was handling the closing, I knew they would manage to screw up this situation for for, and I was 100% correct. Folks, use someone in Gastonia or Hickory. There is a long history of this type of irresponsible business behavior with this firm. And what makes it worse, I have spent the last hour calling there office, selecting every extension on their phone system, and have yet to speak with a live person. Totally and completely unacceptable and unprofessional.

Our buyers chose this company to handle their portion of a real estate transaction and even after a delayed closing the wire for seller proceeds was still delayed. You can never get anyone on the phone to update you either. Just use another attorney and save time and money.
