When choosing your attorney, look for one who is capable of both approaches, but who is always willing to go to court to argue your side. At James H. Cooke Jr., Attorney At Law, our attorney, James H. Cooke, has spent more than 40 years becoming an established part of the Fayetteville legal community. During that time, he has negotiated many divorces and other family law disagreements in his clients’ favor. Just as importantly, he has litigated countless matters that required the experience of a veteran trial attorney. With so much experience both negotiating agreements and trying cases in North Carolina family court, he intuitively understands how to approach each of our client’s cases.
This was for service rendered years ago but it’s time for a review.
I paid good money, what at the time seemed like a lot, but it saved me at least 10x.
During a time of unbelievable uncertainty, they provided ironclad guidance, counsel, and legal services. I got the best outcome I could’ve ever hoped for.
If I could go back, I’d pick them all over again, and hope I never need their services again lol

Mr. Cooke knows his business and is very good at getting results. I will use him again in the future if need ever be, it was a great experience considering it can be stressful to go to court, but knowing I was in great hands eased that stress.

Lacks integrity to the extent of badmouthing his own clients to opposing counsel and interfering with a settlement AFTER its already been signed and filed with the court.
