- NJnicolette jamesJan 1, 20261.0If I could leave zero stars I would. Please read the other bad reviews which I should have before I hired this woman to represent me. I had a very disappointing experience with this attorney. I paid $2,000 with the understanding that she would represent me in a custody case. In reality, she only appeared at two court dates. At one of those dates, she told me the case would be dismissed, but the judge did not dismiss it, and she was completely unprepared to move the case forward. At that point, she told me I would need to pay an additional $3,000, which had never been discussed or agreed upon beforehand. Because I could not suddenly come up with more money, I was left to represent myself in court, completely unprepared. In the end, it feels like I paid $2,000 just for a motion to be filed—something I could have done myself. There was very little communication, no meaningful discussion about the details of my case, and no preparation. Overall, the experience felt unprofessional, disorganized, and focused more on additional payment than on actually representing me as a client. I would not recommend her to anyone needing reliable legal representation. I feel like I should get a partial refund because she did not execute her job at all!
