  Don’t waste your time or money with this woman! I’ve had her from January-May and she racks up a bill without doing hardly any work. She charges for texting and emailing even though she totally ignores you for weeks at a time and even allows her secretary to ignore calls/voicemails. She got mad that I simply wanted to make sure that she received documents I sent which she requested from me, and I wanted an update on my case since it had been months of her having my case and just sitting on it. I begged her to do the simplest thing a lawyer can do which is to get an initial court date on my divorce. I also had a protective order that I obtained before hiring her and sent in a ton of evidence. I begged her for months to see the emergency in my 2 cases I hired her for and asking if we could please get some movement going. But instead, she ignored the evidence and several texts and voicemails left but wanted to have 2 meetings to make it seem like she was gonna do HER JOB and to tell me to send documents and emails just for her to continue to ignore me for weeks on end yet still charge ridiculous amounts for these simple things. And on top of that added false charges to the bill and still NEVER GOT MY DIVORCE COURT DATE NOR FINALIZED PROTECTIVE ORDER! The 1 thing she did was show up at 1 protective order court date (that I already had set up prior to hiring her) to help convince the other lawyer for us to do a TEMPORARY parenting plan which I am grateful for. Although she showed up there late and not to mention was obviously friends with my ex’s lawyer. Other than that all I’ve seen from her is that she is super lazy, a liar, she doesn’t care about you as a human being, and she just piles on astronomical charges instead of doing real work. Her, my ex , & his lawyer were the only ones really benefiting for the most part . Just me asking her to do her job caused her to get mad and find a way to falsify and make up ridiculous charges to take up my $2,850 retainer fee AND tried to say I also now owe $1900 on top of that in order for her to do anything on my case. I asked her to remove herself as my attorney and she told me I have to get MYSELF a court date first! When I did request my own motion for a divorce court date pro se , I finally got it less than 24 hours later smh.

  Julie and her staff took very good care of my family, helped us through a very difficult custody battle, and got us an excellent result. I couldn’t recommend her more!

  My case was a very difficult family case with lots of fails on the justice system but Julie fought very hard to get us peace and justice. The system threw every curve ball but she never quit pushing for us. She always kept me informed and made sure I understood what was going on. We needed an emergency protective order on a Friday Julie got it taken care of and took time to call me at almost 9pm just to give me peace of mind. I really value the advice she gives and it has helped many ways legally and teaching me how to handle situations.
