  Had the unfortunate opportunity to use Brittnee Hill on a case. She over promised and under delivered. Never knew what was going on with the case, did not follow up, and kept billing for time on documents that were specifically NOT on the list of our requests. Documents were filled with errors and misspellings. I felt she only logged time to the case to show billable hours, but did not complete the tasks we originally requested. I did however, have the opportunity to work with Amanda Apple for a short time when Brittnee was unavailable and she was lovely to work with.

  Amanda helped me through an extremely tough divorce. I am forever grateful to her and the other wonderful, caring lawyers at DHH. Highly recommend!

  Complete rip off. Never finished job that was discussed and paid for. Then charge you when you call and try and find out why never received it. Not to mention added junk into paperwork that was never asked for,I'm assuming to just get more money to change it. Absolute joke of a business.

  I cannot express my gratitude enough, for the endless support, of my attorneys Verna Haun, Brittnee Hill, and Dakota Paris, and the endless hard work, hours, and continual support, of Mary Hopwood. She always was there to answer any of my questions, or would set up appointments, so I would have all the direction I could ever ask for, and need. Mary was so patient, and supported us in soo many ways! Also, Alle Pickering- Legal assistant, was such an incredible part of Douglas Haun & Heidemann as well. She was so sweet, and supportive, through the whole case. I always felt like of all of the staff at Douglas Haun & Heidemann, patiently supported us from day one, and through the entire three year case. I would not be where I am today, or secure and safe, without their help, and tireless support. They spoke, and fought for me, in ways that reflected all the severe trauma, that my boys and I had experienced. I came to them feeling hopeless, and scared, and they walked me through every single step. I had so many questions, and just wanted to keep my boys and I safe, and healed from the trauma, and every scary, and dark thing that we've gone through. They always explained each of them, and patiently walked me through my entire divorce. I would say, that after all the expertise, and support I've had from each of the staff members at Douglas Haun & Heidemann, that without all of them, I would not be where I am today. My family and I are safe, and I feel that the justice I've been hoping for, for so long, has finally been ensured. They prioritized that we have gone through, would be shared, and completely brought to light. As a victim of domestic violence, I felt safe, and secure, knowing I had the best Lawyers, and expertise, and someone to walk me through the most fearful, and uncertain time in my life. I am blessed beyond measure. Thank you for everything! Verna Haun expertly prepared, and guided us through the scariest, darkest season, and Brittnee Hill, fought for us, like we were her own family!! And, Dakota would not let any part of our trauma go unspoken. I don't know where I would be without their support, and everything they have done for us. If you are looking for an attorney, and are blessed enough to work with either Dakota Paris, or Brittnee Hill, then you not only are in good hands, but they are never going to leave a question unanswered, and will walk you through the scariest, darkest times in your life. I will be recommending Brittnee, and Dakota, to ANYBODY I encounter that is going through a divorce, or leaving a domestic violence situation. I can't express all that your practice has done for us, and I now have hope, safety, and my family has a beautiful future, THANK you for everything you all have done for us!
