Ms. Krueger, in my opinion, is nothing more than a bitter old playground bully equipped with Microsoft Word and a law degree. Her antics, I would equate to throwing Jello at the wall repeatedly in hopes she gets something right eventually.
Ms. Krueger writes obnoxious blithering letters, and bloviates in hearings and at trial for the entertainment of her client, but as far as I can tell, really accomplished nothing for her client in 4 years other than upsetting the judge and racking up, what I understand from her client’s public GoFundMe (and trial testimony), to be over $260k in legal fees for her client on a 15 month marriage. I can't believe my ex is still paying her, despite all Ms. Kruger's losses.
Ms. Krueger was abusive toward the custody evaluator at trial, and got called out on it by the judge.
Ms. Krueger improperly filled out a subpoena which was quashed by the judge as it was an abuse of her subpoena powers and harassing my CPA with a subpoena was irrelevant to the custody trial.
Ms. Krueger insisted on citing Canadian law at trial. This was cringeworthy, and the judge denied it. We're in Minnesota and Canada is one country over. Minor details.
Ms. Krueger demanded to keep her client's mental health records from the custody evaluation private (take a guess why?), and then accidentally included them in her trial exhibit submission.
Ms. Kruger's behavior in court was cringeworthy, unprofessional, and it seemed Ms. Krueger’s only priority was on slandering me, and totally forgot that we were there to talk about a custody matter. In a 4 day trial over custody, I don’t recall her side bringing up my daughter. I didn’t feel Ms. Krueger even knew why we were at trial other than to say bad things about me for pay. On day 3 when I took the stand, she looked like she had egg on her face when I started talking about my daughter.
If Sherri Krueger happens to be your opposing counsel, I would 10 out of 10 highly recommend going to trial against her. She has a loud bark and writes fact-defying bullying letters, completely unfocused, gets hung up in the weeds so much that she seems frazzled and goes on senseless tirades, is absolutely tone deaf with no ability to read the room in court, is seemingly unfamiliar with state statutes or what country she’s even practicing law in, and her slandering of the other parent doesn’t resonate well in family court. At trial, it’s about the children, not slandering the other parent for entertainment value so your client opens up their wallet to pay you obscene amounts of money with no goal in mind.
The judge’s ruling awarded me what I asked for on all the major points, and Ms. Krueger's client has a public Go-Fund me in hopes to repay over $260k in legal debt. As far as I can tell, Ms. Krueger lost everything they were asking for.
If you’re reading this and she’s being unethical with your case, file an ethics complaint. Search for “MN lawyers professional responsibility board”, read the rules, and file a complaint based on her behaviors which violate the rules of professional responsibility.

I was referred to Krueger, Juelich & Schmisek by a friend who had a great experience with them. I had no idea how to handle all the paperwork. Everyone was so helpful from the beginning of the process, to the end. Sherri was so easy to work with. She was professional, knowledgeable and efficient. I highly recommend her and Krueger, Juelich & Schmisek!!!

Ms. Krueger attempted to subpoena our CPA. My CPA's attorney called her out on a number of mistakes Ms. Krueger had made in an attempt to bully us, and the judge ultimately quashed Ms. Kruger's subpoena.

I lost everything because of Sherri Krueger! She doesn't know what she's doing and makes false promises to lead you on! Total waste of money! Like all the other people unhappy with her, she pretends to have never worked with you.

My family member was quite literally saved because of Ryan and Cynthia.
Their team was quick and resilient. I had a unique situation that involved cross-states and custody of a minor. I called at least 50 different lawyers in these two states who all ended up referring me to someone else or just plain didn't know how to handle my case.
When I contacted Ryan Shmisek he took charge right away and was readily prepared for multiple outcomes for this case. He and his team maintained open-communication and answered all my questions when they came up which I really appreciated in such a complex/sensitive situation. He was extremely considerate and mindful during the whole process.
I am forever grateful to them and highly recommend reaching out to them.
