  Attorney Dawn Speltz and Paralegal Kayla Johnson were incredible throughout my divorce process. They were exceptionally responsive, often replying to my emails even at night, and provided clear guidance on every legal matter. Dawn helped me achieve 50/50 physical and legal custody of my children, something I didn’t realize was possible as a father. She found legal precedents that ensured equitable division of assets. The divorce was entirely negotiated and we didn't have to go to court. I couldn’t be more grateful for their dedication and professionalism. Highly recommend!

  This is from a previous client: "This firm was chosen by my legal counsel as a "mediator" in my divorce negotiations. To say I was displeased is minor. I have never felt so run over and taken advantage of in my life. It was not mediation. It was not "fair". It was a ridiculously expensive alternative to a trial. In a divorce with no property, any major assets,it should have been simple but it came down to a, perceived (on my part) "friendship" with opposing counsel. If I had a chance to fight/take it to trial I would. On several occasions with Ellen Schraeder leading the "mediation" I expressed that I felt she (Ellen Schraeder) must have a friendship or relationship with SOMEONE that was opposing me, because nothing I provided as evidence, she gave any attention to. She was awful. Disparaging and rude. My case was handled as though I wasnt even there. And I'm a great person. Hard working, mother of 3. ZERO criminal record or charges. I've had 1 speeding ticket my entire life and I lost custody of my youngest. Ughhh...I digress, I was so railroaded and bled dry thru "mediation" I signed on the dotted line and have yet to regain my self esteem, self worth due to the services provided by CC &S. I would absolutely represent myself than "Shredder" as her colleagues call her. And, I'm very aware a fool for a client is what I would be. It would have been better than paying her exhorberent fees to just get screwed over legally. "
