  I was injured substantially in a cycling incident in 2022 and sought the services of Hazelton Law Group to get "made whole" by the responsible party's insurance company. From the onset Brooks explained the process thoroughly and set appropriate expectations. They collected all the medical bills and other out-of-pocket expenses and sent out a very well-documented demand package to the insurance company. The insurance company's initial offer was larger than expected. Brooks was able to further negotiate to get them to their top dollar. He also worked with the short term disability company and health insurance company to get them to take a substantial reduction in their liens against the settlement. I worked for Minnesota's second-largest auto insurance company for over two decades and don't have a very favorable view of injury attorneys. There's a reason I picked Hazelton Law Group. They're different than the rest of the bunch for a couple of reasons. First, they're not your typical lazy "ambulance-chasing attorney" - they are very thorough and very good at what they do. Second, they don't compromise their (or my) integrity throughout the process - they treat all parties involved with kindness and respect, while still maintaining their effectiveness. The support staff (Ali & Cassie) also have very good communication and follow-through on promises made. Sure, I could've tried to get a settlement without the assistance of Hazelton. But we'd be nowhere near where we ended up. The one thing our family needed for closure in all of this is the confirmation that nothing was "left on the table"... and although the settlement can't undo what happened, it can give us avenues to create new memories to (hopefully) overwrite some of the bad memories. I feel like Hazelton gave 100% on this and got all parties involved to offer their top dollar. They also greatly reduced the stress involved as they did the legwork for me and I didn't have to worry about this. I can't express enough my gratefulness for the services offered by Hazelton.
