Brouse, Woodke & Hildebrandt, PLLP. A full service civil law firm specializing in: Elder Law; Estate Planning; Corporate & Business Law; Real Estate; Civil Litigation; Bankruptcy; Probate; Family Law; and Family Mediation.
My experience with attorney Woodke of Brouse, Woodke & Meyer P.L.L.P. has been marked by deep mistrust and a pattern of behavior that, in my opinion, prioritizes personal gain over professional integrity or justice.
Woodke has shown a troubling tendency to entangle rather than resolve legal conflicts—deliberately inflaming disputes that could be mediated in order to maximize billable hours. What’s worse, this tendency appears to be paired with a willingness to bend the truth, obscure facts, and introduce misleading or outright fraudulent information in court filings.
In the Duerst v. Lalone case, he played a central role in justifying what I believe was the theft of our family’s property—leveraging falsified or incomplete evidence to tilt the court’s understanding and obscure the truth. His conduct toward my father during that case was particularly egregious, marked by a lack of candor and what felt like a calculated effort to push a false narrative at our expense.
This wasn’t an isolated instance. Woodke also represented my mother’s ex-husband in a custody case—despite known and credible concerns about alcoholism. That custody was revoked almost immediately after being granted, raising serious questions about Woodke’s professional judgment and his willingness to overlook red flags when convenient.
Taken together, these experiences paint a disturbing picture: an attorney more interested in legal maneuvering and personal victory than in truth, fairness, or ethical practice. I urge anyone considering this firm—especially Woodke—to proceed with caution. If you value honesty, resolution, and principled representation, look elsewhere.
