- RPReal Whirl PodcastDec 19, 20255.0I met Mr. Coppins 18 years ago as a court appointed attorney. I caught a serious case dealing with a family member, and I was looking at 20 years. Sean guaranteed me that he would fight for me as if I was one of his paid clients, and that he DID DO! Instead of doing 20 years Mr. Coppins got me 1 year in the county jail along with work release. After I put that situation behind me i stayed in contact with Mr. Coppins, and I sent him paid clients who were also pleased with his work. 18 years later I hired Mr. Coppins to sit in on my Project Clean Slate expungement hearing in Macomb County. I felt more comfortable with Mr. Coppins being at my table because he knew the situation of my case, and he knows his way around a court room. It is safe to say that my record is expunged and I’m able to do things with my grandchildren that I wasn’t allowed to do with my children. Sean was by my side from the beginning and the end of my case! And he helped to secure my expungement, and I am grateful to him for that. You’re better off going with the court appointed or should I say a different court appointed. he sure isn't worth paying out of pocket for. I fired him and retained new council after finding out how little to no help he was. Also terrible communication. Hard pass. Edit/response to owner- I’m sure you have satisfied clients, different circumstances caused for different outcomes. I said what I said. New council has been retained. I don’t need a response.
