  I have been very happy with the experience I have received from Chris throughout my current ongoing custody processes. She’s smart, she’s aggressive when needed, and most of all, she’s compassionate through everything.   I came to the US as an immigrant many years ago with my wife and young child. Shortly after the divorce and custody issues began. Protective order, false allegations, Divorce and Custody litgation. I changed several attorney's each only seemed to make my case worse and my financial situation unbearable with no end in sight.   Christine Nielson has represented a friend for the past several years in a variety of cases at both the trial and appellate levels in the State of Maryland. She is a very professional, ethical, and knowledgeable attorney who works tirelessly on behalf of her clients. Christine has demonstrated over and over her expertise in not only the law, but also the factual details of each case. As someone who has worked closely with attorneys and their clients over the past 20 years at the Federal level, I believe Christine is a true advocate who advances the interests of and defends her clients. If you read any negative reviews of this attorney, they are likely by someone who was on the opposite side of a case and lost. So, always consider the source and judge accordingly.

  Christine Nielson is an unethical attorney. She billed for time not used on the case; she increased her billing rate by $75.00 per hour when she knew she was getting fired to eat up the retainer. She gave unethical, and illegal advice, she advised her client to threaten a minor to send him to foster care during COVID, the police almost arrested her client for acting on her advice. She instructed her client to Drain the bank account, "That is the last money you will ever see from him." That was the money Christine was after for her retainer. In court, she was unprepared and perplexed, at the end nothing went her way. I have used good lawyers before, on a scale of 1-10 Christine is 1.5. She claims to be Bulldog, she told me she is a shredder. A Chow Chow, but that is an insult to Chow Chow's at least they can bark up a storm. I would not recommend Christine to my enemy. Terrible, just Terrible. I am the husband, which means my wife and I are still married. Ms. Nielson was hired by a third party to facilitate a divorce between my wife and I that neither of us wanted. I challenge Ms. Nielson to produce a retainer stating my wife hired her. None exists. We have initiated the appropriate legal process to hold Ms. Nielson accountable for her actions and recover our money. We follow the law and the available processes, which is the appropriate thing to do. Lawyers are not above the law, there are institutions, organizations and laws that govern and regulate practicing law.
