I retained them to represent me, and my case was ultimately dropped because I did not complete 12 therapy sessions—a requirement that was never clearly stated as mandatory. Therapy was presented as a suggestion, not an obligation. I completed six sessions and stopped because I believed I could manage my pain at the time. I was later informed that my case was dropped solely for this reason, despite the fact that I was still experiencing pain and even offered to resume therapy once this was brought to my attention. Additionally, the assistant handling my matter contacted me and later misrepresented our conversation by stating that I had said I was “fine,” which was not true. I clearly stated that I was not 100%, which is entirely reasonable given the circumstances. Despite dropping my case, the firm still charged me for the medical providers they referred me to. I find it unfair and unprofessional to terminate representation under these circumstances, especially when expectations were not clearly communicated and my statements were mischaracterized.
