  I am writing to address the concerns regarding the work completed and the associated billing of Kathleen Kirchner. It has come to my attention that there are discrepancies in the hours billed and the nature of the work performed. As per our agreement, payment is contingent upon work that is actually and reasonably performed. Upon review, it appears that the time sheets provided do not align with the work completed. Furthermore, the files delivered back to me were found to be identical to the original files provided, raising questions about the billed hours. Specifically, as an example, the charges related to work on a certain real estate firm, are questionable given the lack of substantial work in that area. These discrepancies, along with others, lead me to believe that there are erroneous charges that border on fraudulent billing. As a resolution, I am requesting a refund of $5000 for the inaccurately billed hours. In an effort to reach an expedited resolution, I am willing to accept a settlement of $2500. I trust that we can promptly resolve this matter in an amicable manner. Please confirm receipt of this request and your willingness to proceed with the proposed resolution.

  This review is long overdue because I have had the pleasure of working with Kathleen for almost 2 years. She rescued my divorce from an attorney who was simply incompetent, arrogant and nearly criminal in his approach to managing my case. The process and cost ($$) of dissolving my marriage prevented me from accomplishing any simple task or step to bring it to conclusion and Kathleen was able to swoop in to bring my divorce to it's conclusion in days and weeks after our first meeting. At our first meeting, she invested the time to understand my needs and set clear expectations in order to get my case over the finish line, WITHOUT feeling that it was an endless cycle of billable hours. For the first time in many years, I had an opportunity to enjoy the Christmas holiday with my family. Just recently, my ex wife was making idle and baseless threats and harassing me over SMS and via strongly-worded letters from her attorneys.
