  I got in touch with Josh Zisson on a recommendation from a fellow bicyclist colleague after a bicycle accident when a car crashed into me at high speed last summer; I'm so very thankful that I did. More important to me than being an excellent attorney; Josh is a genuinely awesome guy who provided me indispensable help *pro bono* over my six months of dealing with my insurance adjuster who continuously stone-walled on my hospital bill copay reimbursement. I heard "my benefits were exhausted" so many times from every person I spoke to or emailed at the insurance company; they even mailed me an "explanation of benefits" saying this! Josh explained to me that this was totally BS and that I had more than enough balance remaining to cover the pending ER bill. After the call I just shot back to the insurance adjuster the precise wording that Josh suggested and my reimbursement was processed within a few days! Without Josh's help I might have ended up paying several *thousands* out of pocket to avoid my bill going into collections. I could have recruited any of the shills on the radio to represent me and saved a ton of time and trouble. In the end I learnt so much more about how the insurance system works in practice thanks to Josh patiently explaining the nitty gritty details that insurance adjusters themselves demurely claim they did not know. Simply put, Josh and team are doing an incredible job helping out bicyclists and other vulnerable users on the road. As I mentioned above Josh helped me pro bono and refused any payment. They're a great team. I wish them the very best and would whole heartedly recommend them for anyone in need of a consultation or an attorney.

  Last October, I was hit by a car while riding my bike. Within 24 hours, I was contacted by the driver’s insurance company wanting me to settle the claim. I realized that I did not know how to handle these demands. So on the advice of my neighbor, himself a lawyer, I contacted Joshua. We had a good talk as he explained my options. So I hired him to deal with the insurance companies. There were demands from the hospital, the insurance companies, the Medicare people as well as the bike shop who would be doing the repairs, Having someone like Joshua take care of the paperwork and negotiations allowed me to concentrate on healing and getting my strength back. Joshua’s experience with bicycles and insurance companies made the whole process painless.
