  The primary reason for this review is a serious lack of confidentiality. During a family-law consultation involving sensitive personal matters, the call was placed on speaker. The call was not properly disconnected and ended with dismissive verbal acknowledgments (“uh-uh/uh-huh”) directed to someone else in the room. I also heard additional remarks, which I will not repeat. This raises fundamental concerns about confidentiality and professional intake practices. I waited over ten days for this scheduled consultation. I explained upfront that my case involved complexity and was told it likely was not. Once I began outlining the facts, the tone shifted to dismissive, and the consultation ended abruptly. I offered to pay for the time spent. Those seeking representation for complex or high-stakes matters should carefully consider this experience before scheduling.

  This attorney lost the case, then tried to drag it out with a motion for a new trial that had no real legal footing just to get more money from us, Her filings were sloppy, her understanding of Louisiana law was questionable, and her tactics came off as desperate rather than strategic. If you want progress, clarity, and real legal knowledge, look somewhere else. 1 star because 0 wasn’t an option!

  Ivy is not knowledgeable of the law at all. She lied and said it is against the law to file for a continuation WITH THE JUDGE (because his ex was starting a new job) for my son and said it was her career on the line! I went back to court yesterday with my son and his new GREAT/friend attorney AND SHE IS HAVING TO FIX ALL THE ISSUES that were not even done legally or by any STANDARD LEGAL format and forced my son to agree and told him if he did not sign he would not see his kids and I even saw and old friend (attorney) that has been practicing over 25 years and he said Ivy needs about 10 years experience and should not be practicing law just because she has a law degree. That’s a PEER REVIEW!!! SO BE WARNED 🤬🤬🤬. BUT HER AND OPPOSING COUNSEL WERE CHATTING IN THE HALLWAY AND OPPOSING COUNSEL TOLD HER “ don’t worry I’ve got your back girl” so just know RUN AND ALSO CONTACT Louisiana STATE BAR ASSOCIATION WITH YOUR OWN CONCERNS..
