- BBbrandy bryantSep 26, 20211.0I contacted Morris Barts law firm in May of this year. My dad and step mom were on a motorcycle and a lady ran a stop sign and hit them head on. Killed my stepmother instantly. My dad was airlifted to LSU Shreveport where he spent 39 days before being sent to a horrible rehab facility, Leslie Lakes, in Arcadia. .My dad was on life support for several days in SICU. He had lost literally half of his blood volume, broke both shoulder blades, all of his ribs on the right side, punctured his right lung, broke his right hip socket, multiple pelvis fractures, his right leg and his right foot were broken. He also broke his left femur , suffered a TBI and 3rd nerve eye damage. You could only imagine the amount of surgeries and hardware put in his body. They lady that hit them head on only received a ticket for failure to yield.! That's it. My stepmother is dead, my dad is beyond messed up physically, mentally and emotionally for the rest of his life. I'm certain his injuries will be the death of him. Morris Bart would absolutely not take out case(I have full POA over my father) I was told on the phone and sent a letter saying that there was no money to be made! Are you kidding me!!! I wouldn't refer them to anyone. Ever!
