    I was in a car accident in August 2024 and reached a settlement in March 2026. For those unfamiliar with the process like I was: in kentucky, Morgan & Morgan will charge a 40% fee even if your case doesn't go to court. On a $23,000 recovery, their fee was $9,200. The good news is my other case fees were only $451, which is very low for a 2-year case. After those fees, $13,348 remained. They are currently holding an $825 'trust fee' and a $300 'cost deposit; leaving me with $12,223 for now. "More Advice: make sure to ask for an itemized statement for any money held in trust. If that money isn't paid to third parties (like doctors), it should be returned to you once the hold period ends. I'm thankful to be alive and have this resolved

    I don’t recommend them you will never speak to your lawyer they will work your claim with no info from you

    Initially gave them 5 stars as the intake rep was very understanding and said they would take the case. Then after 1 call received from their law office- I left messages via email and their online case app and didn’t get any call backs for days. Or ANY back from a lawyer there- Then a call before New Year’s Day that I missed and returned within an hour but no one picked up- then nothing again for a days. Then a week later someone called me and said ‘no worries the case will be assigned and you will hear from a lawyer soon’. Later that day an associate called to tell me that they were NOT going to take the case and I should find another firm. They initially took it 3 weeks before and then they decided to NOT take it- not enough money in a pay out for them I guess- they said they could recommend another law firm but I said i would find someone else myself. But 3 weeks and no call backs and I felt UNHEARD and upset and even more so when they finally called to say they didn’t want the case. Their caring commercials on radio as so misleading- never again with them. 2 stars are for the intake woman who was compassionate and understanding.
