  Joe was reliable, calm, responsive, caring and available. I could always count on him to be professional and direct in his guidance and advice. His knowledge of the law is thorough. He was fair and honest in his billing, and did everything possible to keep expenses reasonable, while ensuring appropriate legal representation. I highly recommend him.

  I would not recommend Joe as your divorce attorney, I made the mistake of paying him up front. He rushed you through the whole process, only giving you about 15 minutes per office visit and not explaining much. I watched him treat his Legal Secretary like a piece of dog meat due to him being unorganized. Joe was always last minute with court filing deadlines too. He only called you into his office to sign paperwork. His last-minute filings and extensions were SELF-SERVING causing the other party extra expenses that were not necessary. When I asked him about the process of getting my half of the agreed upon house settlement, he seemed clueless. He said he would get back with me (when I handed him the other attorneys paperwork). Joe never did get back with me. My emails and phone messages went unanswered too. He seemed more concerned as to how I obtained the paperwork for the house settlement. I do not recommend him as an attorney that looks out for your best interest when it comes to a divorce. He's just a last-minute paper pusher in an outdated, unorganized office setting and just looking to do the bare minimum. Look elsewhere people.

  Please be careful before deciding to use Joe based on reading the previous reviews. My experience with him was full of missed deadlines, late to appointments, failed to follow up on commitments, failed to provide case updates unless I made multiple requests, and even failed to provide legal guidance or advice. It was an awful experience that was delayed due to his poor performance. After months of this poor service, I replaced him and a new attorney that completed more in weeks than he did in months. I could go on with more but will be respectful.

  Joe was so personable and knowledgeable. His decades of experience as an attorney in his military career and private practice he is a wealth of knowledge. Joe helped me with Landlord Tenant law. He genuinely cares about each and every one of his clients and will look out for your best interest.

  Joseph DeWoskin hands down changed the course of my life forever! He represented my divorce case which required Criminal, Civil, and Family Law. He helped me safely navigate through the darkest hours of my life. At no point did I ever feel like I was battling this alone. He always gave me wise and sound counsel. Worked with me through my financial struggles. When my divorce was finally over after a very long two years. I was finally set free to rebuild my life. He took my case in 2008 and closed my case in 2010. It's now spring of 2021. I was able to raise my girls up in a new state. We joined a local Baptist church and met new friends. Both of my girls turned out amazing. My oldest is a sophomore in college studying to become a dental hygienist and my youngest is graduating high school in 3 weeks and also taking college classes. Joe will forever hold a special place in my heart for setting us free so that we could build a new life! It's been the most incredible journey and it all started with the Lord pointing me to the open door. Thank you Joe... Keeping being amazing....!!! All the best, SS
