  I hired Attorney J. Zach Winsett during one of the most challenging and stressful periods of my life, dealing with both family law and criminal defense issues. I was overwhelmed and honestly didn’t know what to expect, but from our first conversation, he made me feel heard, supported, and much more at ease. Zach always took the time to explain things in a way I could understand and kept me informed every step of the way. I never felt like just another case — he truly cared about helping me through a very difficult situation. His knowledge, confidence, and attention to detail gave me a lot of reassurance when I needed it most. I’m incredibly thankful for all of his hard work and dedication.   Had Jeff Shoulders and he did absolutely nothing except take money. Don't waste your time or money on him, he was absolutely no help at all! He charged $2500 for the retainer, never contacted about anything and spent maybe 30 minutes in the courtroom to do nothing but get my son screwed over. Then he charged him over $3000 for nothing. I Will never ever refer anyone to this office ever again!! Thank you for absolutely nothing Jeff, you are a huge joke!! Follow up, he did speak to my son and made sure to bring up my horrible review that I left him and he did confirm a couple of things and said he would be happy to represent my son again. If he was any kind of a good person, he would have offered his service Pro bono since he did nothing but get my son screwed over. But that didn’t happen, so here’s my review again. Please keep in mind, I do not do reviews but this was necessary. DO NOT GET JEFF SHOULDERS IF YOU NEED LEGAL REPRESENTATION!!!!

  Mr. Maurer represented a family member on a difficult divorce case. He and Ms. Schweizer were terrific to work with, as was the entire staff. They are professional, thoughtful, and patient. They answered every email -- and I sent a lot! I'm glad I know these exceptional people.
