  Extremely Unprofessional and Untrustworthy Law Firm – Avoid at All Costs When I hired this firm (then operating under the name Zemmerman & Walsh) five years ago, we agreed to a $3,000 upfront payment with the understanding that my case would be resolved within one year. The firm assured me that this fee would cover their services, and that any unused portion would be refunded if the case ended early. They also stated that if the case required more time, their hourly rate would be $250/hour. Since then, I have paid nearly $24,000, and my case is still unresolved. Throughout this time, the firm has: • Ignored or delayed responding to my emails and calls. • Sent conflicting and inconsistent documents. • Raised their hourly rate from $250 to $300 without any proper written notice or proof of mailing. • Refused to provide tracking information when I asked about supposed letters they claimed were sent. At one point, I personally visited their office with my younger brother to ask why the case was dragging on and why the fees were so high. Instead of taking accountability, they blamed delays on my ex-spouse and his attorney. They also verbally promised that my ex-spouse would ultimately be responsible for the legal fees — but when I requested that in writing, they ignored me. The most shocking example came recently, when they billed me nearly $5,000 for a single relocation document. This charge is completely unreasonable. On top of that, they have repeatedly threatened me to drop my case, causing severe emotional distress and fear, all while providing no meaningful progress or results after five years. To make matters worse, I later discovered that many others have had similar negative experiences with this firm. They even recently changed their name to Welsh & Welsh LLP, which gives the impression they are trying to escape accountability for their past conduct. ⚠️ Warning to others: This firm has been unprofessional, untrustworthy, and exploitative in my experience. They appear more interested in draining clients financially than providing genuine legal help. I share my story so that others do not suffer the same way I have.   Pathetic attorney she was paid in full never had time to make calls would get a letter in the mail letting me know court was the following day had meetings with her children at her office got nowhere in settlement
