I was facing some serious charges and Jason Tempin got my charges down from a class 3 felony to a misdemeanor. He was persistent and driven. He even scheduled routine office meetings to update me on the status of the case and what he expected of me. Highly recommend Bulldog legal services as your go to attorney office to handle your case.

I was involved in an ostensible situation where I was portrayed as the antagonist. The video evidence was against me, multiple eye witnesses testified against me, and I was charged with 2 felony counts. I was facing serious charges, potential years in prison, probation, and incredible fines.
Attorney Jason Tempin handled my case. I chose Jason because he was the only attorney who actually called me back to ask if I wanted his help, and this was after we already had an hour long phone consultation. No other attorney did that. He called me and wanted me to not feel pressured but to give assurance that he was ready and willing to take on my case when i was ready.
He was not only highly skilled and knowledgeable regarding legal proceedings, but was empathetic and reasonable while understanding the complexities of the case. When i was engaged with him he never rushed or made me feel that his time was more valuable. He was there for you and listened intently. He is a man of integrity and told me, "Ethically, I do not want to put you in a place or situation that makes you feel uncomfortable regarding any agreement or outcome" from the prosecution.
Like I said, I was facing serious charges and Jason with his expert negotiating skills managed to Dismiss my case with prejudice. It was a stunning outcome and even the judge told me, as he smiled from the bench, "This doesn't happen very often".
The staff at Bulldog Legal services were friendly and expeditious. They were available and communicated all information with urgency. If you're in the office please admire the paintings too.
I can not say enough about how happy I am that I chose Jason Tempin to represent me and handle my case. He was there in the court for every court hearing that i had and made sure to shepard me through the whole process with ease of mind. I am forever grateful to Jason for keeping my life intact and I will be returning for his assistance in expunging this from my record.
If, god forbid, I am ever in trouble, I know I can rely on Jason to help mitigate any legal issues. I truly can not recommend him enough. 5 stars

If you want to pay someone $3,500 just to be screamed at and thrown out of their office, then this is the lawyer for you. I hired him to handle my case, but during what should have been a routine office visit, he lost his temper simply because I was wearing a beer T-shirt under a zipped hoodie. When I calmly told him I didn’t appreciate being spoken to that way—especially after paying him thousands of dollars—he threw my folder across the desk, told me it was “16 hours of work” and that I wouldn’t be getting anything back, then ordered his secretary to kick me out.
I never received a refund, never got proper legal help from him, and ultimately had to hire another attorney (Albert Altamore) to fix the mess. This incident happened about a year ago, and I waited until all my court matters were resolved before posting this review to make sure he couldn’t jeopardize my case.
I’m writing this now to warn others: save your money, time, and peace of mind.
If you're facing criminal charges, it's crucial to contact a criminal defense attorney right away. Refrain from discussing the matter with law enforcement or trying to explain your situation independently. A skilled attorney can safeguard your rights and start developing a defense strategy from the earliest stages of your case.
Should I talk to the police before speaking with an attorney?
It's advisable not to speak with the police before consulting an attorney. Your constitutional rights include the right to remain silent and the right to legal counsel. Any statements made to law enforcement can be recorded and potentially used against you in court. It's in your best interest to consult with a defense attorney before answering any questions.
Can I be charged with a crime before I'm arrested?
Yes, it's possible to be charged with a crime before an arrest occurs. A judge may issue an arrest warrant, and if law enforcement locates you, they'll make an arrest and provide a copy of the warrant detailing the charges. Contacting an attorney as soon as you become aware of a warrant can significantly influence the course of your case.
What should I do if I'm accused of domestic battery?
If you're accused of domestic battery, it's essential to contact an experienced domestic battery defense attorney immediately. Avoid communicating with law enforcement or attempting to explain your perspective without legal representation. Early legal counsel is vital for protecting your rights and mitigating potential serious consequences.
Can I be arrested even if the accusations are false or exaggerated?
Indeed, an arrest can occur even if the accusations are false or exaggerated. In domestic violence situations, police often make rapid decisions at the scene and may arrest someone based solely on an accusation. Given that false, exaggerated, or emotionally charged claims are common, having a competent defense attorney is crucial.
How can Bulldog Legal Services help with a domestic battery case?
Bulldog Legal Services provides comprehensive assistance in domestic battery cases. We conduct an in-depth analysis of the evidence, investigate both sides of the situation, and construct a robust, strategic defense. Our primary objective is to protect your rights and pursue the most favorable outcome at every stage of your case.
What is the difference between expungement and record sealing in Illinois?
In Illinois, expungement completely eliminates qualifying arrests or cases from your criminal record. Record sealing, on the other hand, doesn't erase the record but prevents public access to it. Neither sealed nor expunged records appear on standard background checks, and employers are prohibited from inquiring about them.
Will expunging or sealing my record help with employment and housing?
Expunging or sealing your record can indeed improve your prospects for employment and housing. Criminal records often restrict job opportunities, wages, and access to housing. When a record is sealed or expunged, it becomes invisible to most employers and landlords, which can substantially enhance your ability to secure work and housing.
Am I eligible to have my criminal record expunged?
Eligibility for expungement depends on various factors. You may qualify if your case involved arrests that didn't result in a conviction, charges that were dismissed, reversed, or vacated, or cases that resulted in court supervision after the required waiting period. Your specific case outcome and overall criminal history determine your eligibility.
What types of criminal records can be sealed?
Many misdemeanor and felony convictions may be eligible for record sealing in Illinois, with certain exceptions such as offenses requiring registration on specific state databases. Some cases may qualify for sealing before they're eligible for expungement, depending on the sentence and the time that has elapsed since the conviction.
