  If I can give 0 stars I would. They told me my retainer will cover the processing fees. They charged me $14,000 in 2 months just to get the DNA results. The lawyers don’t care about your time and charge $125 per email, text or call you make to them. I have filed a ARDC complaint on 4 attorneys at the law firm. They also put a collection notice on the remaining $4,000 they are charging for their services, to a person who is not on the contract. So I will also be filing a civil suit because that has stopped the process of me getting a home, car, and has diminished my credit. They don’t do anything for the first month of the case, I had to call and tell them I’m leaving for them to start, 1.5 months later all I got were DNA results, and they charged $14,000. So in 2.5 months I was paying $4500 a month for them to do nothing. Since they are attorneys they filed the collection with in weeks. This entire firm is joke. Terrible lawyers, but a very rich charity, you will only be donating to them. They take advantage of people going through the worst time of there life and have 0 results.

  PLEASE READ!! To any FATHERS looking to learn and fight for their rights! I highly advise you to call the offices of JML! In May of 2025, I decided to search for father rights lawyers, I felt lost and alone. With no where to turn and feeling hopeless. I came across the JML website and was impressed with the history of this firm. I proceeded to call and let me tell you guys this. From first line of contact, all the way to the lawyers themselves, i was treated with hospitality and understanding. I spoke to a wonderful woman at first, my guess is it was one of their paralegals, and she was so understanding and connected with me not as another phone call, but as friend. She made me feel welcome and not alone. Eventually i spoke with Anthony D’Agostino, and upon speaking with him, he was so helpful and genuinely interested in my case. I wanted to fight for my daughter, I explained to him my situation. I was living in Connecticut during this time, and only had my daughter for short time. Anthony experienced and knowledge of the law helped me understand my rights and what i can do as a father. I was so surprised by what I am able to do and how much rights i have as a father. He taught me about the UCCJEA (look it up), he taught me that i can fight for my daughter to be with me and that i had more ground than i thought. My daughter came to visit me on Feb. 2025, fast forward more than a year later, and my daughter is STILL with me. I am still fighting for my rights and I'm still going through the divorce process, which by the way, unfortunately I did not have Anthony as my attorney, due to jurisdiction with me being in Connecticut and not Illinois. But if it wasn't for Anthony, i would have returned my daughter and potential lost out on many of my rights and lost out on the opportunity to fight for her. Because of Anthony, i had an opportunity to, i gained hope, and more importantly, i wasnt alone! My case will likely move to Illinois, but I will be turning to Anthony for help and i am confident that he is the right man for the job. And im very thankful to him! Thank you Anthony!

  So far so good. The $50k in retainer was a bit steep, but how much would you pay to have your life back. In my case, my spouse already fled the country, reestablished residency, and assumed unjust authority of the 3 children. The law offices of Jeffrey M. Leving took my case after my previous counsel spun their wheels for a year (and +$18k). At this point my case is not done, but Michael Ochoa & Juliet Higgins have turned a corner getting court dates as early as next week and mediation in next month. I can say that my team ensures that I am heard, takes my calls, and addresses the concerns I feel are important. I’d also say they’re honest enough to keep hopes/expectations grounded in reality. I appreciate their efforts this far, especially since I’m near Memphis and the office is in Chicago. They definitely take into consideration that while we’re working on proceedings, real life (work & temporary visits US>UK / UK>US) still happen which can be overwhelming, and create challenges in driving the matter at the same time. I look forward to the outcome, and posting an update to this. Great job team.
