  If you can believe it, my longtime attorneys were so impressed with Sean Hamman that they actually recommended I start working with him instead. I'm very happy I took their advice. He's excellent. Highly experienced, super smart, super strategic, and fearless. I'm confident he's great for anyone, but I think he's particularly good for men/dads with tricky situations. 5/5 recommend. And my previous attorneys do, too.

  It's rare to say one had a good experience with an attorney and especially with a divorce/family law attorney. Well, all that changed with Sean Hamann. Sean thinks strategically and showed genuine care and concern over my legal issues. Finally, an attorney who was my zealous advocate! He thought and planned steps ahead and provided pros and cons of different scenarios to help me make decisions. He is legally knowledgeable and very prompt in communication. I enjoyed working with him and also getting to know him as a person. I truly felt he had my back.

  I will always be grateful to Sean for his homespun wisdom and brevity in court. It was a tiny delight to see the judge’s effort to conceal a smile when he let the opposing atty run his mouth before delivering the wry slam dunk.

  Our story started many years ago when my wife’s ex-husband abducted their infant sons after his affair with a former girlfriend. The boys were kept of reached in China for 15 years. In 2019, after a tip from the National Center for Missing Children, Mr. Lake was able to craft a creative legal strategy to allow my wife to reunite with her sons, just in time before they became legal adults. My wife was able to gain full custody, she was able to seize a property owned by her ex to fund the boys’ education and living expenses. One of the boys is now attending a prestigious university, studying chemical engineering. The other son continues to live with us happily while attending community college, pursuing courses in arts. I have worked with a lot of attorneys in my line of work, and I must say I have NEVER met one with Steve’s creativity, work ethics, responsiveness, and knowledge in his field. Behind his professional demeanor is a person who truly cares about his clients’ legal and emotional needs. He returned our calls often from his vacation, over the weekend, and was attentive to every single little relevant detail of the case.
