  So far so good. The $50k in retainer was a bit steep, but how much would you pay to have your life back. In my case, my spouse already fled the country, reestablished residency, and assumed unjust authority of the 3 children. The law offices of Jeffrey M. Leving took my case after my previous counsel spun their wheels for a year (and +$18k). At this point my case is not done, but Michael Ochoa & Juliet Higgins have turned a corner getting court dates as early as next week and mediation in next month. I can say that my team ensures that I am heard, takes my calls, and addresses the concerns I feel are important. I’d also say they’re honest enough to keep hopes/expectations grounded in reality. I appreciate their efforts this far, especially since I’m near Memphis and the office is in Chicago. They definitely take into consideration that while we’re working on proceedings, real life (work & temporary visits US>UK / UK>US) still happen which can be overwhelming, and create challenges in driving the matter at the same time. I look forward to the outcome, and posting an update to this. Great job team.

  At first, I thought my experience with Leving Law Firm was going to be great. I worked with Mr. Poole, who initially seemed to understand my situation and assured me that I was in good hands. Unfortunately, that confidence did not translate into results. After spending thousands of dollars, there was little to no progress made on my case. I am still essentially at square one, with only a temporary order that allows me to see my children. After a year with this firm, I saw no meaningful movement or resolution. The only positive aspect of my experience was Mayra, who I believe is the secretary. She was consistently helpful, responsive, and professional every time I spoke with her. Ultimately, I had no choice but to fire my lawyer and continue my case pro se. In just a few months representing myself, I have seen more progress than I did in an entire year with this law firm. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I cannot recommend their services. I’m trying to help my fellow dads save their money for their children because I wish I did. 41,000 down the drain and mind you guys if it was not for Mayra it would have cost me a lot more as she was able to get me a settlement on top of discounts for me complaining about the no progress in my case.

  In April of 2024 my 10-year-old daughter was placed in my care by her maternal grandparents. Her mother was, to say the least, unstable & dangerous. After about a month of my daughter living with me I started getting calls from the mother claiming she had been discharged from a mental institution & wanted our daughter to come live with her & her new boyfriend (whom she met in that institution). She showed up to our home in the middle of the night, as well as at my daughter's school & attempted to abscond with my daughter. At first, I attempted to navigate the extremely confusing & frustrating legal system on my own. Filing emergency orders pro se & spending hours at the Daley Center. After getting nowhere on my own I decided that I needed help, so I reached out to the Offices of Jeffrey M. Leving. My all-star team of Attorneys Michael Saluman, Larry Starkopf & Anthony D'Agostino won my trust & confidence. Special thanks to Attorney Michael Saluman for taking on the bulk of the work involved in helping to keep my daughter safe. Michael was professional as well as compassionate & always advocated for what was in the best interest of the child. After months of attempting to facilitate supervised parenting time for my daughter & her mother, our efforts proved unsuccessful. Unfortunately when addiction & mental health are not taken seriously, this seems to be how it goes. Finally, after all the protocol of the court system, I was awarded Sole Allocation of Parental Rights & Responsibilities. It was a long & stressful process. Definitely wasn't cheap, but you can't put a price on your child's safety & well-being. In the end, it was money well spent. I could not have done this on my own. Huge thanks again to Attorney Michael Saluman, you are appreciated.
